Siegel High School is a public high school in the Rutherford County School System in Tennessee. The principal, Larry Creasy, has been the head of the administrative staff since 2014.

Contents

Siegel High School opened in the fall of 2003. The Siegel school complex also includes Siegel Middle School and Siegel Elementary school. The complex is situated on land gifted to Rutherford County by Richard Siegel through his will. [4]

Football

The Stars football team plays at Ken Nolan Stadium, named after the first principal of the school. The team has had many players play football at the next level, including one NFL Draft Pick (Montori Hughes). [5]

Wrestling

The Stars wrestling team competes in District 10 - Region 5 of the Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association. [6] The team has had numerous Region Champions, State Medalist, and one State Champion. The Stars also claimed back to back District titles in 2015 and 2016 while winning the Region 5 Dual Championship in 2015.[ citation needed ]

Warren Central High School, also known as Warren, WC, or WCHS, is a public high school located in Warren Township on the far east side of Indianapolis, Indiana. It is the only high school in Warren Township with an enrollment of 3,736 students, in grades 9–12, as of the 2016–2017 school year. Warren Central is known as "The Pride of the Eastside". Its school colors are Black and Vegas Gold and the nickname is the Warriors. The school fight song is Rah, Rah For Warren. The original Warren Central opened on January 12, 1925, at the corner of 10th Street and Post Road on the far east side of Indianapolis. It was a consolidation of the Cumberland and Shadeland schools which both had high schools that were too small for the growing township population. Warren Central was built to house grades 7 to 12 and to give the students a city quality education in a farm community. By the late 1950s, the population of Warren Township had once again outgrown its high school and, on September 6, 1960, a new Warren Central opened at its present location off of 9500 East 16th Street. In 1976, the Walker Career Center opened on the property of the high school.

Richard Wilson Stockstill is an American college football coach. He is an offensive analyst for Florida State University, his alma mater, a position he has held since 2024. He was the head coach at Middle Tennessee from 2006 to 2023. Stockstill was a Florida State quarterback under coach Bobby Bowden from 1977 to 1981. On December 12, 2005, Stockstill was hired as the 14th head coach of the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders.

Sponsored by freight company R+L Carriers, the game was officially known as the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl.

Brent Forrest Stockstill is an American football coach and former player who is currently a defensive analyst for the Indianapolis Colts of the National Football League (NFL). A former quarterback at Middle Tennessee, he set multiple career program records including passing yards, touchdown passes, completed passes, and pass attempts. Stockstill had also obtained a reputation for being one of the toughest players in college football for his ability to play while being hindered by injuries.
