Siirt S.K. was a sports club located in Siirt, Turkey. The football club plays in the Iddaa League B. It was founded as Siirt YSE in 1969. It was renamed as Siirt Köy Hizmetleri in 1989, as Siirt Jetpa S.K. in 1999 and as Siirt S.K. in 2002.

Tokat Airport is an airport built in 1995 in Tokat, the city in inner Black Sea region of Turkey. Flights from the airport were halted and resumed again several times, most recently in 2017. Construction on a new airport started in 2018 and was completed in 2022. Since March 2022, Turkish Airlines operates flights from Tokat Airport to Istanbul.


Kozyrevsk Airport was an airport in Russia located 3 km northeast of Kozyrevsk. It is a minor paved airfield with a spartan, neglected appearance. The airport was closed in 1995 by the Russian Ministry of Transport for reasons of lower flight volumes and growing maintenance costs. Overhead imagery from Google Earth show vegetation intrusion in the former runway area beginning 2005, and far progressed by 2016.

Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz International Airport, formerly Qassim International Airport, is an international airport serving Buraidah, Saudi Arabia. Located in Buraidah and named after the former Crown Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz, it primarily serves the northern provinces of the kingdom. International routes are limited to 9 countries: the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Bahrain, Azerbaijan (seasonal), Bosnia and Herzegovina (seasonal), Qatar, Kuwait, Pakistan, and Turkey. Established in 1964, the airport is owned and operated by the Matarat Holding Company. Borajet was a privately owned Turkish airline based in Yeşilköy, Bakırköy, Istanbul operating domestic and international services. It suspended operations on 24 April 2017.

The Kirazlık Dam is a gravity dam on the Botan River, 9 km (6 mi) east of Siirt in Siirt Province of southeastern Turkey. The purpose of the dam is to regulate the outflow of the Alkumru Dam upstream and to produce hydroelectric power with a run-of-the-river design. The dam was completed in late 2011 and the power station become operational in 2013. The power plant houses three 15 MW Kaplan turbine-generators.

Pedasí Airport is an airport serving the town of Pedasí, in Panama. It parallels the Pacific coastline 2 kilometres (1 mi) north of the town.

2015 Siirt bombing was a bombing targeting an armoured vehicle with personnels of Turkish Gendarmerie in it in Şirvan - Pervari road of Siirt Province on 19 August 2015, around 14:10 with a bomb that was placed on the road several hours before the detonation. 8 people died and 1 was injured as a result of the attack. No one has claimed responsibility, but Turkish government has blamed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) for the attack.
