The Silvrettahorn is a mountain of the Silvretta Alps, located on the border between Switzerland and Austria. On its southern Swiss side it overlooks the Silvretta Glacier.

Fluchthorn Mountain in Switzerland

The Fluchthorn or Piz Fenga is a mountain in the Silvretta Alps, located on the border between Austria and Switzerland. With a height of 3,399 metres (11,152 ft) above sea level, it is the second highest summit of the Silvretta Alps. The Fluchthorn lies between the Jamtal (Tyrol) and the Val Fenga (Graubünden). It consists of three summits of which the southern one is the highest.

Flüela Pass Swiss mountain pass

The Flüela Pass is a high mountain pass of the Swiss Alps in Graubünden. Traditionally considered the boundary between the Albula and Silvretta Alps, the pass crosses the watershed / drainage divide between the basins of the Rivers Rhine and Danube. The pass is overlooked by the Flüela Schwarzhorn and the Flüela Wisshorn. The summit of the pass lies between the lakes Lai da la Scotta and Lai Nair.

Rhaetian Alps

The Rhaetian Alps are a mountain range of the Eastern Alps. The SOIUSA classification system divides them into the Western and Eastern Rhaetian Alps, while the Alpine Club classification of the Eastern Alps places most of the Rhaetian subranges within the Western Limestone Alps.

Grison Alps

Silvretta Glacier

The Silvretta Glacier is a 3 km long glacier (2005) situated in the Silvretta Range in the canton of Graubünden in Switzerland. In 1973 it had an area of 3.35 km².

The Verstancla Glacier is a 2 km long glacier (2005) situated in the Silvretta Range in the canton of Graubünden in Switzerland. In 1973 it had an area of 1.27 km2. The glacier is located north of the Verstanclahorn. It is parallel to the larger Silvretta Glacier lying a few kilometres north.

Landquart (river)

The Landquart is a river of Switzerland in the canton of Grisons and a right tributary of the Alpine Rhine. It is formed by the confluence of the two mountain streams, Vereinabach and Verstanclabach, both originating from glaciers in the Silvretta Alps. It flows northwesterly through the village of Klosters, the largest and uppermost village in the Prättigau valley. It empties into the Alpine Rhine in the town of Landquart. Length: 38 km (24 mi), drainage basin: 618 km2 (239 sq mi).
