Simon Dore (born 30 July 1969) [1] is a retired professional kickboxer from Leicester, England. Dore was a former WKN world heavyweight kickboxing champion who fought most of his career under 'full-contact' rules but would also compete under 'free-style' (low kicks) rules and fought twice in K-1.
Simon Dore began his career fighting under full-contact rules eventually winning the World Association of Kickboxing Organizations (WAKO) pro Commonwealth super-cruiserweight title. On 20 June 1998, Dore upset Brazilian ISKA world champion Eduardo Canuto by split decision in Bangor, Northern Ireland. [2] [3] On 6 February 1999, Dore lost to South African Sheldon Schutzler by decision in a freestyle bout held in Belfast, Northern Ireland. This was Dore's first bout under low kick rules. [4] Shortly afterwards Dore captured the WKN world heavyweight title under low kick rules on 28 April 1999 in a re-match against Eduardo Canuto in Alagoas, Brazil.
On 6 June 1999, Simon Dore fought Hiromi Amada at K-1: Survival '99 in Sapporo, Japan, losing by TKO at 1:55 of round 3. Then on 31 October 1999 in Leicester, England, Simon Dore re-matched Sheldon Schutzler who was now the WKN Intercontinental heavyweight Thai boxing champion. Dore won the bout by unanimous decision after 5 rounds. [5] Dore had his second K-1 bout on 16 April 2000 at K-1: UK Battle of Britain 2000 in Birmingham, England against UK MMA pioneer Lee Hasdell. Dore lost by KO at 0:30 of round 3.
Ranked No.1 in the world, Dore travelled to Lake Grove, New York on 16 November 2001 to take on the USKBA world super-heavyweight full-contact champion Derek Panza (17-1). This was also for the vacant ISKA world super-heavyweight full-contact title. Dore took Panza the full 12 rounds, losing by decision. [6] Dore had a shot at the WAKO pro world heavyweight full-contact title when he fought Aziz Katou in Leicester, losing by 8th-round KO.

Rick John Roufus is a retired American kickboxer. He has also competed professionally in boxing and mixed martial arts. An accomplished professional fighter throughout his competitive career, Roufus has won multiple world championships across the globe in several weight classes, he was world champion as a super middle weight, light heavyweight and heavyweight. Roufus held titles for all the major kickboxing associations worldwide, and is known for his boxing skills and powerful kicks. He is the older brother of Duke Roufus who is also a kickboxer and a Muay Thai and mixed martial arts instructor. Rick Roufus is the Global Director of Fighter Development for PKA Worldwide. In 2012 Rick Roufus was inducted into the World Kickboxing League Hall of Fame.
Alexey Ignashov is a Belarusian former Heavyweight kickboxer. He is a four-time Muay Thai World champion, K-1 World GP 2003 in Paris and K-1 World GP 2001 in Nagoya tournament champion. As of 2011 he is living in Auckland, New Zealand and training at Balmoral Lee Gar Gym under Lollo Heimuli.
Jérôme Philippe Le Banner is a French kickboxer, mixed martial artist, and professional wrestler. Le Banner fought for most of his career in K-1 and became known for his aggressive fighting style and knockout power. He is a 2-time K-1 World Grand Prix runner up, a 2-time K-1 Preliminary Grand Prix champion, and is a multiple time world champion in Kickboxing and Muay Thai. Dennis Raymond Alexio is an American former professional kickboxer and actor who competed in the light heavyweight, cruiserweight and heavyweight divisions. Starting out as a light heavyweight, Alexio kicked off his career with an extensive, knockout-laden undefeated streak before losing a decision to Don "The Dragon" Wilson in a World Kickboxing Association (WKA) World Super Light Heavyweight Full Contact Championship match in 1984. He rebounded from this by winning the Professional Karate Association (PKA) World Light Heavyweight title that same year before moving up to cruiserweight and taking the International Sport Karate Association (ISKA) World Cruiserweight Full Contact strap. In the late 1980s, he began his transition to the heavyweight division where he won six world titles and was considered the undisputed World Heavyweight Champion. He faced the two toughest tests of his career in 1992 against Branko Cikatić and Stan Longinidis - both of whom were heavier fighters - fighting to a controversial draw with Cikatić and losing to Longinidis via an early low kick KO which resulted in a broken leg.
Stan "The Man" Longinidis is an Australian retired heavyweight kickboxer and 8-time world kickboxing champion. Born in Melbourne of Greek ethnicity, Longinidis is one of the few fighters to win world titles in four different styles of kickboxing competition: international rules, Oriental rules, full contact and Muay Thai.
