Lancashire Cricket Club represents the historic county of Lancashire in English cricket. The club has held first-class status since it was founded in 1864. At the start of the 2009 season,Smith was promoted to open the batting,having previously batted in the lower order,and secured his place there. In 2011,the year Lancashire won the County Championship for the first time since 1950,Smith became the first Lancashire player to score a century and take four wickets in the same one-day match. In 2011/12 Smith played for the Matabeleland Tuskers in Zimbabwe as an overseas player in the domestic twenty20 competition.
Steven John Mullaney is an English retired cricketer best known for his time playing for,and captaining,Nottinghamshire. During his 18 year career he also played for Lancashire and Trent Rockets along with representing England at the 2006 Under-19 Cricket World Cup.

In August 2011,Kerrigan was selected for the England Lions for the first time. The following month he took the best first-class bowling figures for Lancashire since 1953 and that year Lancashire won the County Championship for the first time since 1950.
Luke Jack Fletcher is an English cricketer who bats right-handed and bowls right-arm medium-fast. He played for Nottinghamshire from 2008 until 2024,with loan spells at Derbyshire and Surrey. In franchise cricket,he has played for Wellington Firebirds and Welsh Fire. Fletcher was voted the County Championship Player of the Year in 2021.

He was born in Mansfield,Nottinghamshire,England and educated at the Meden School in Market Warsop. On 14 July 2016 he made his Test debut for England against Pakistan. His uncle,Bruce French,also played Test cricket for England and was chosen to present Ball with his England cap before his Test debut in July 2016.
