The Siti Khadijah Market (Malay : Pasar Besar Siti Khadijah) is a market in Kota Bharu, Kelantan, Malaysia.
The market's name is derived from Khadija bint Khuwaylid, the wife of Muhammad [1] who was a businesswoman on that time. Thus, this market also is dominated by women sellers. [2]
The market was originally established as Buluh Kubu Market (Malay : Pasar Besar Buluh Kubu) in 1985 and opened to the public by Sultan Ismail Petra. The foundation stone of the building was laid by Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah. The market was then renamed by Kelantan Menteri Besar Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat in 1997. [3]

Fresh goodies, ready-to-eat foods, local snacks and drinks can be found sold in the market. [4]
The bottom floor is dedicated to wet items such as fish, vegetables, chicken and so on. Level 1 is allocated to dry food items such as serundeng. They additionally sell traditional Kelantan cakes, chicken, spiked fish, rice noodles, glazed rice, nasi dagang, laksam and somtam. The second and third floors are for non-food items.

Nik Abdul Aziz had retained the seat in the 13th General Election in 2013 by beating Wan Razman Wan Abd Razak of the Barisan Nasional with a majority of 6,500 votes.
Kelantanese Malays are a sub-ethnic group of Malays native to the state of Kelantan, Malaysia as well as in Northern Terengganu. The Kelantanese Malays are closely related to Thai Malays and Terengganuan Malays in neighbouring Terengganu, these two Malay sub-ethnic groups shared historical, cultural and linguistic as well as kinship ties with the Kelantanese Malays. Kelantanese Malays form 94% of Kelantan's population, which makes them the largest ethnic group in Kelantan and around 150,000 in Besut, Terengganu.
