Jorge Rivera Soriano (born September 2, 1964) [1] is a Mexican luchador (Spanish for "professional wrestler") who is best known as a trainer. He has been a tecnico throughout his wrestling career. [2] He is currently training wrestlers at Arena Xalapa, different states of Mexico and the United States. [1]

Professional wrestling career

Rivera started wrestling in 1987 under the names of "Porsche" and "El Seminarista". As El Seminarista, he won a Luchas de Apuestas (bet match) against a young Super Crazy for his mask. He later wrestled as "La Flecha" between 1988 and 1993. His breakout year was when he went to Asistencia Asesoría y Administración in 1995 with the new gimmick of "Power Raider Blanco" (Spanish for "Power Ranger White") and became a member of the Power Raider group. The whole idea of this was Antonio Peña's who thought doing this could get the fans excited. Peña later got sued by Mattel and decided to re-gimmick all of those who were in Power Raider to Los Cadetes Del Espacio. Since then he changed his name to "Boomerang" for a year before changing it to his most famous one, "Skayde". He later left AAA in 1997 to work for Promo Azteca. [2] In Promo Azteca, he wrestled as Skayde before leaving in 1998. In 1999 he worked between Asistencia Asesoría y Administración, Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre, and International Wrestling Revolution Group as "Electra". [2] In 2000, Rivera started to wrestle in Toryumon Mexico using his real name and unmasking as "Jorge Rivera". [3] Rivera then traveled to the United States, where he wrestled in both Chikara and Combat Zone Wrestling as Destello. [3] Rivera has also wrestled in Japan in Dragon Gate as Skayde. [3] and is currently wrestling on the independent circuit in Mexico. [2] In March 2009, Rivera took part in the Chikara's King of Trios Tournament, teaming up with Mike Quackenbush and Johnny Saint in "The Masters of a Thousand Holds" team. They would win their opening round match against "Incoherence" (Delirious, Hallowicked and Frightmare), but would lose their quarter-final round match against "Team Uppercut", which consisted of Bryan Danielson, Claudio Castagnoli, and Dave Taylor. Rivera was scheduled to enter the 2010 King of Trios tournament, teaming with El Valiente and Turbo, but after he reportedly tried to hold the company up for more money, while failing to deliver Valiente and Turbo, Chikara announced that they were severing ties with him effective immediately. [4] In late 2012 Skayde started working with River City Wrestling (RCW) out of San Antonio, TX, both wrestling and running training clinics on teaching the local San Antonio wrestlers lucha libre. In 2017 Skayde joined the training team at the Pro Wrestling Revolution Training Academy in San Jose, CA.

Chikara was an American professional wrestling promotion based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The company took both its name and logo from the Japanese kanji meaning 'strength' (力). It was founded in 2002 by professional wrestlers Mike Quackenbush and Reckless Youth, who also served as trainers and in-ring performers.

Oziel Toscano Jasso is a Mexican professional wrestler, or Luchador as they are known in Spanish. He has achieved most success under the ring names Tarzan Boy and Toscano. After making his professional wrestling debut in 1993 he has worked for a number of notable professional wrestling promotions in and outside of Mexico such as Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre, AAA, the World Wrestling Federation, International Wrestling Revolution Group, and Promo Azteca. Toscano's ring character is that of a Latin hearth-throb. He has also competed under the ring names Armando Fernandez, Baby Toscano/Babe Toscano, Tarzan Toscano, and Zorro during his career.

Gran Akuma is an American retired professional wrestler, best known for his work in Chikara. He has also worked for Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW), Dragon Gate USA and Full Impact Pro (FIP). In Chikara, he was a member of The Kings of Wrestling stable, while also being a part of Team F.I.S.T. with Icarus and Chuck Taylor. On November 17, 2006, Akuma and Icarus defeated Chris Hero and Claudio Castagnoli to capture the Campeonatos de Parejas.

Mini Abismo Negro is the ring name of a Mexican Luchador enmascarado who works in the Mini-Estrella division for Asistencia Asesoría y Administración (AAA). Mini Abismo Negro is a former, two time Mexican National Mini-Estrellas Champion and the former AAA World Mini-Estrella Champion, the only wrestler to hold both titles. Mini Abismo Negro's real name is not a matter of public record, as is often the case with masked wrestlers in Mexico where their private lives are kept a secret from the wrestling fans. Working in the Mini division does not automatically mean that he has dwarfism as several short wrestlers work in the "Mini" division, including Mini Abismo Negro.

Roberto Castillo is an American professional wrestler currently working on the independent circuit in Mexico and Southern California under the ring name Misterioso. Together with Volador, Misterioso formed one of the most popular and talented teams in Mexico in the early to mid-1990s.

Maniaco is a Mexican Luchador, or professional wrestler best known for being a part of the Asistencia Asesoría y Administración (AAA) group Los Vipers. He currently works for Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL), although the storyline portrays him as an outsider, part of Los Independientes. Maniaco is a former four time holder of the Mexican National Atómicos Championship along with Histeria, Mosco de la Merced II and Psicosis II.

He has performed primarily in the Chikara professional wrestling promotion, where he started his career in May 2002. His accomplishments in the promotion include becoming the inaugural Young Lions Cup Champion, a one-time Campeon de Parejas, a two-time Grand Champion and the winner of the 2003 Tag World Grand Prix and 2012 King of Trios tournaments. He served as an assistant trainer at The Wrestle Factory, operated by Chikara founder Mike Quackenbush. Throughout his career he has also worked for promotions such as Combat Zone Wrestling, Dragon Gate USA, Evolve Wrestling, Full Impact Pro, Jersey All Pro Wrestling, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla and Ring of Honor. He is known for his ghoulish looks and incoherent speech pattern.

Mario González Lozano is a Mexican luchador, or professional wrestler, who works as an exótico for the Mexican Lucha Libre AAA World Wide promotion and Lucha Underground under the ring name Pimpinela Escarlata. As Escarlata he is a former AAA Reina de Reinas Champion, Mexican National Middleweight Champion and AAA World Mixed Tag Team Champion. His ring name is Spanish for "The Scarlet Pimpernel" and is taken from the fictional character of the same name.
