Sky Tower Abu Dhabi is a 292-metre tall skyscraper with 74 floors in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. It is located on Al Reem Island and includes office and residential space. Construction was completed in 2010 when it was the city's largest building but has been overtaken by The Landmark since, see also Abu Dhabi skyscrapers. The tower is twinned with the neighboring Sun Tower [2] and part of the Shams Abu Dhabi development project.
The building, designed by the US firm Architectonica, [3] has 474 residential units. The Arabian Construction Company (ACC) was commissioned to build the tower. [4]
The building won the GCC Residential Project of the Year award at the Construction Week Awards 2011. [4]
The Burj Khalifa is a skyscraper in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is the world's tallest structure. The Shams Abu Dhabi project will be developed on Reem Island in Abu Dhabi by Sorouh Real Estate and occupy approximately 25% of the island. The Index is a 328 m (1,076 ft) tall, 80-storey skyscraper in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Of the 80 floors, the first four floors are service floors, 5th–29th are to be offices and 31st–77th are residential use, 73rd and 75th floors are duplex penthouses and 77th to 80th floor are triplex penthouses. The tower is oriented exactly along the east–west axis so that the eastern and western concrete cores shelter the floors from the harsh, desert sun and the climatic effects of the area. The concrete cores shelter the building from the low angle, highly penetrating morning and evening sun leaving only the south facade exposed to the high angle, low penetrating midday sun. The south-facing facade utilizes extensive sun shades to lower solar gain.
Silver Tower is a 120m tall building which was in 2006 the 16th tallest in Abu Dhabi, capital of the United Arab Emirates. Silver Tower or HH Sheikh Hamdan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Tower was built circa 1990 by Cassia and Associates. It used to be on the main Corniche Road, but with the reconstruction of the Corniche recently, the road next to Silver Tower is now called Corniche Lane. The building's first four levels are for office use by Abu Dhabi Investment Authority and the rest of the floors from 5 to 29 are residential.
HHHR Tower, also known as the Blue Tower, is a supertall skyscraper on Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The construction of the 72-floor, 317-metre (1,040 ft) building started in 2006 and was completed in 2010. Designed by architect Al Hashemi, the building is primarily residential, with some commercial uses.
Emirates Crown is a 63-floor residential tower in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, developed by Bin Shafar Holding and designed by Design & Architecture Bureau. Construction of these towers was scheduled to end in 2010, though the 2008 financial crisis pushed the project completion date to 2014. The complex includes two malls, and one Courtyard by Marriott hotel. The complex was initially planned to house three skyscrapers, but the 2008 crisis forced the contractors to withdraw construction of the Hotel Tower, the result being two skyscrapers.

It is the second tallest building in Abu Dhabi behind the Burj Mohammed bin Rashid in the Central Market Project World Trade Center complex.

Dubai Pearl was a 73-storey, 300 m (984 ft), tall residential skyscraper project situated along Al Sufouh Road in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The project was first announced in 2002. Construction was on hold from 2006 to 2022. As per reports, demolition work is ongoing at the site as of January 23rd, 2023. The building would have consisted of four mixed-use towers connected together at the base and by a sky bridge at the top. The structural design was carried out by the Dubai-based engineering firm e-Construct, and the project would have cost $4 billion. Had it been completed, Dubai Pearl would have accommodated 9,000 residents and its commercial sector would have employed 12,000 people.
