The Skyliners Synchronized Skating Team is a synchronized skating team from the New York metropolitan area.
Skyliners Synchronized Skating Team was established in 2001, and started competing internationally in 2003. they are three-time world championships competitors, five-time Junior worlds medalists (2018–2019, 2022-2024), nine-time U.S national medalists (2015–2020, 2022-2024), and six-time U.S junior national champions (2017–2020, 2023). Synchronized skating, often called synchro, is an ice skating sport where between 8 and 20 skaters perform together as a team. They move as a flowing unit at high speed over the ice, while performing elements and footwork.
Igor Yuryevich Shpilband is an American ice dancing coach and former competitor for the Soviet Union. He is the 1983 World Junior champion with former partner Tatiana Gladkova.
The ISU World Synchronized Skating Championships (WSSC) are the world championships for the sport of synchronized skating. Held since 2000, the World Synchronized Skating Championships is an annual event organized by the International Skating Union and attracts the most elite senior-level synchronized skating teams from around the world to compete for the World Championship.
The Miami University Synchronized Skating Team is a senior-level synchronized skating team from the United States. Their homeclub is Miami University, in Oxford, Ohio. They were the U.S. national champions in 1999, 2006 and 2009. They became the first American team to medal at the ISU World Synchronized Skating Championships by earning the silver medal at the 2007 championships in London, Ontario, Canada. They are three-time winners of the EDI Award for Best Synchronized Skating Performance at the U.S. national championships.
Marigold IceUnity are a senior-level synchronized skating team from Helsinki, Finland, representing the figure skating club Helsingin Luistelijat. Coached by Anu Oksanen and Tiina Turunen, they are five-time World Champions and were ranked second in the world in 2015 by the International Skating Union.
black ice were a synchronized skating team from Canada. Their senior team were three-time medalists at the World Championships and eight-time Canadian national champions. The team was founded by Cathy Dalton and Susan Pettes. On October 20, 2010, black ice announced they were retiring. Their junior team won the 2006 French Cup and was 5th at Junior World Challenge Cup that same year. black ice also appeared on the Canadian reality show Say Yes & Marry Me! in 2003, where they helped a man propose to his girlfriend.
The Haydenettes are a senior-level synchronized skating team representing The Skating Club of Boston in Norwood, Massachusetts, United States. They are five-time bronze medalists at the World Synchronized Skating Championships, earning the title in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2016. Formed in 1979 by Lynn Benson, the Haydenettes are the most successful synchronized skating team in U.S. history, with 30 U.S. National titles.
Team Braemar was a junior-level synchronized skating team representing Braemar City of Lakes Figure Skating Club, based in Edina, Minnesota. They were Junior world challenge cup bronze medalists (2011), four-time Junior U.S. champions,and two-time junior national medalists. They skated in the opening ceremonies of the 1980 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid, New York.

Evgeni Stanislavovich Semenenko is a Russian figure skater. He is the 2021 Skate Canada bronze medalist and a two-time Russian national champion (2023–24). He placed in the top eight at the 2021 World Championships. He was the best result of Russia at 2022 Winter Olympics, placing 8th all-around. On the junior level, he is the 2021 Russian junior national champion.
