"Slap" is the fourth single from Ludacris' fifth album Release Therapy (2006).
"Slap" is an account of poverty on Bush America. Its narrator explains that he is feeling tired about working a lot and getting a low wage, and because of this, he has thoughts about beating (in the uncensored version, killing) his boss. His frustration is then explained to be bigger than that: his best friend was murdered just a day before. He also explains that he has thoughts about robbing a bank to have enough money to feed his newborn baby. Later, at the end of the song, his car is robbed and he expresses an ever-bigger disappointment at the government. According to Allmusic reviewer Marisa Brown, Ludacris' character in the song has these thoughts because he is suffering from depression. [2]
The music video was released early in 2007. It is based on Martin Scorsese's Taxi Driver , with Ludacris as Travis Bickle, with many references to the movie, including Ludacris kicking over his TV while watching President Bush and doing the iconic "You talkin' to me?" in an interlude. The video shows Ludacris as a taxi driver (wearing the same jacket as Robert De Niro) and the video ends with Ludacris storming a brothel and punching the bouncer and a prostitute's customer, in a similar fashion to Taxi Driver's ending, but without the use of guns. It is dedicated to Ludacris' father and best friend Wayne Bridges as it is said at the end of the video. In the scene where Ludacris is working out he is seen wearing a fan T-shirt of the Paratroopers Brigade of the Israel Defense Forces. [3]
"Slap" first gained media attention after Fox News conservative commentator Bill O'Reilly criticized the lyrical content of the song (which uses the word "nigga" forty times, although it is only used as a repeated element of the chorus, also the anti-Bush lyrical content) in his television program. He stated that Ludacris should have not won the Grammy Award for Best Rap Album in the 49th ceremony (that took place a day earlier, on February 11, 2007) because of the song.

"Loverboy" is a song by American singer and songwriter Mariah Carey. It was released on June 19, 2001, by Virgin Records America as the lead single from her eighth studio album Glitter, the soundtrack to the 2001 film of the same name. Written and produced by Carey, Larry Blackmon, Thomas Jenkins and Clark Kent, "Loverboy" is built around a sample from "Candy" by the funk band Cameo, who are also featured on the track. Lyrically, the song finds Carey fantasizing about her loverboy, a man that will fulfill her physical and sexual desires. "Holidae In" is a song by American rapper Chingy featuring Ludacris and Snoop Dogg. It was released on August 25, 2003, by Capitol and Disturbing tha Peace as the second single off his debut album Jackpot (2003). It was co-written by Chingy, Ludacris and both Alonzo Lee and Shamar Daugherty of the Trak Starz, who also produced the song. It garnered positive reviews from critics, heralding praise to all three artists for their respective performances.
"Ciega, Sordomuda" is a song recorded by Colombian singer Shakira for her fourth studio album Dónde Están los Ladrones? (1998). "Money Maker" is a song written and performed by American rapper Ludacris and R&B singer Pharrell Williams. "Grew Up A Screw Up" is the second single from Ludacris' Release Therapy. The song features Young Jeezy and a sample of The Notorious B.I.G. who sings the hook "I grew up a fucking screw up." Curiously, in the video, Young Jeezy raps a verse different from the one which appeared on the Release Therapy album. The video premiered on BET's 106 & Park as a New Joint on Friday October 13, 2006. The video has already been released on MTV Jams.

"Hey Daddy " is a song by American R&B singer Usher. The song is the first single in the United States from Usher's sixth studio album Raymond v. Raymond, following the buzz single "Papers". The song was written by longtime Usher collaborator Rico Love, Usher, Plies and The Runners and it was also produced by the Love and The Runners. It was released through Def Jam Recordings on March 19, 2021, as the fifth single from Bieber's sixth studio album, Justice, along with the album. Bieber, Caesar, and Giveon wrote the song with producers Harv and Shndo, alongside Andrew Watt, Louis Bell, Sean Leon, Harv's wife Felisha King-Harvey, Vincent Massi, and Keavan Yazdani.
