Small Town Girl is the debut studio album by American country music singer Kellie Pickler, released on October 31, 2006, by BNA Records. The album was produced by Blake Chancey. The album was certified Gold by the RIAA on January 18, 2007. [4]

The album produced three Top 20 singles: The RIAA certified "Red High Heels", [4] "I Wonder", and "Things That Never Cross a Man's Mind" Gold. "Didn't You Know How Much I Loved You" was re-recorded for Kellie's self-titled second album, and released on August 31, 2009, as that albums' third single and a Top 20 hit for Pickler.

Chart performance

Small Town Girl debuted inside the U.S. Billboard 200 top 10 at number nine. The album debuted at number one on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart, [5] selling about 79,000 copies in its first week, [6] the album has since sold over 884,000 copies as of May 2010. Pickler is the second American Idol alumnus to have a number-one album on the U.S. Country Album chart, the first being Idol winner Carrie Underwood.

The lead-off single, "Don't You Know You're Beautiful", was debuted at the 43rd Academy Of Country Music awards and peaked at number 21 on Hot Country Songs. The album was released via BNA Records/19 Recordings on September 30, 2008. Since the albums' release, three more singles have charted; "Best Days of Your Life" at number 9, "Didn't You Know How Much I Loved You" at number 14 and "Makin' Me Fall in Love Again" at number 30.

"Best Days of Your Life" is a song performed by American country music artist Kellie Pickler. It was written by Pickler and American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift who also provides background vocals on the song. It was released on December 1, 2008, as the second single from Kellie Pickler's self-titled second album. The song is about a narrator explaining how her former boyfriend cheated on her and moved on to a new girlfriend to start a family with, wishing them well on their new life but says that the new girl won't top what they previously once had before.
