Smolniki [smɔlˈniki] (German : Blumenthal) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Szubin, within Nakło County, Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, in north-central Poland. [1] It lies approximately 4 kilometres (2 mi) south of Szubin, 21 km (13 mi) south-east of Nakło nad Notecią, and 22 km (14 mi) south-west of Bydgoszcz.

Nakło County is a unit of territorial administration and local government (powiat) in Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, north-central Poland. It came into being on January 1, 1999, as a result of the Polish local government reforms passed in 1998.
