Smolniki [smɔlˈniki] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Kościerzyna, within Kościerzyna County, Pomeranian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.^[1] It lies approximately 8 kilometres (5 mi) south-east of Kościerzyna and 48 km (30 mi) south-west of the regional capital Gdańsk.

Its administrative seat and only town is Kościerzyna, which lies 51 kilometres (32 mi) south-west of the regional capital Gdańsk. Its borders equal approximately the borders of the old Marquessate of Berent in the German Empire.
