Smykowo [smɨˈkɔvɔ] (German : Schmückwalde) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Ostróda, within Ostróda County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland. [1] It lies approximately 9 kilometres (6 mi) south-west of Ostróda and 42 km (26 mi) south-west of the regional capital Olsztyn.

Gmina Ostróda is a rural gmina in Ostróda County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland. Its seat is the town of Ostróda, although the town is not part of the territory of the gmina.
