Sod in the Seed is an EP by American band Why?. It was released by City Slang in Europe on August 13, 2012, and by Anticon in North America on August 14, 2012. [6] A music video was created for the title track. [7]
Ian Cohen of Pitchfork gave the EP a 5.2 out of 10, describing it as "a regression rather than a rightful claim to what's theirs" that "benefits from the sketch-like character of its remaining songs." [4]
Mike Diver of BBC listed it as one of the six best EPs of 2012. [8]

Fevers and Mirrors is the third studio album by the Nebraska indie band Bright Eyes, recorded in 1999 and released on May 29, 2000. It was the 32nd release of the Omaha, Nebraska-based record label Saddle Creek Records. The album was released later in 2000 in the United Kingdom as the inaugural release from Wichita Recordings.
Why? is an American alternative hip hop and indie rock band. The band was founded in 2004 by Cincinnati rapper and singer Yoni Wolf, who had been using Why? as his stage name since 1997. In addition to Wolf, who serves as lead vocalist and multi-instrumentalist, the band consists of multi-instrumentalists and backing vocalists Doug McDiarmid and Matt Meldon, and drummer and backing vocalist Josiah Wolf, who is Yoni Wolf's older brother.
Felt 2: A Tribute to Lisa Bonet is the second studio album by Felt, an American hip hop duo made up of Murs and Slug. It is a concept album meant as a tribute to actress Lisa Bonet. Produced by Ant, it was released by Rhymesayers Entertainment in 2005. It peaked at number 12 on the Billboard Heatseekers Albums chart, as well as number 21 on the Independent Albums chart.
Technicolour is the third and final studio album by Disco Inferno, released posthumously on 22 July 1996 by Rough Trade Records in the United Kingdom. After releasing the EP It's a Kid's World in September 1994, Disco Inferno found themselves "burnt out and in debt; attracting little commercial success; beset by live failures; struggling against frustration, depression, internal bitterness and against the prevailing musical tide; helplessly caught in Rough Trade's ownership battles; [and] still barely into their twenties"; the trio imploded and called it quits as a band. Technicolour was shelved for nearly two years after the band had dissolved. A projected EP release of "Sleight of Hand" was canceled, and an entire album's worth of songs already recorded by singer/guitarist Ian Crause remains unreleased.
William Emmanuel Bevan, known by his recording alias Burial, is a British electronic musician from South London. Initially remaining anonymous, Burial became the first artist signed to Kode9's electronic label Hyperdub in 2005. He won acclaim the following year for his self-titled debut album, an influential release in the UK's dubstep scene which showcased a dark, emotive take on UK rave music styles such as UK garage and 2-step; it was named the album of the year by The Wire. Burial's second album, Untrue, was released to further critical acclaim in 2007.
Dirty Projectors is an American indie rock band from Brooklyn, New York, formed in 2002. The band is the project of singer-songwriter David Longstreth, who has served as the band's sole constant member throughout numerous line-up changes. The band's current line-up consists of Longstreth, alongside Mike Daniel Johnson (drums), Maia Friedman, Felicia Douglass and Kristin Slipp.
Manners is the debut studio album by American electropop band Passion Pit. It was released on May 15, 2009, by Frenchkiss Records. "The Reeling" was released as the album's lead single on May 11, 2009, and its music video was premiered on YouTube on April 21, 2009. A second single, "To Kingdom Come", was released in August 2009, followed by "Little Secrets" in December 2009. "Sleepyhead" was originally included on Passion Pit's first EP, Chunk of Change (2008), but was mastered for inclusion on Manners. As of December 2009, the album had sold 82,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
Tomorrow, in a Year is the studio version of the music commissioned by the Danish performance group Hotel Pro Forma for its opera based on Charles Darwin's On the Origin of Species. Adam George Dyment, better known by his stage name Duke Dumont, is an English DJ and record producer. He is best known for his hit singles "Need U (100%)" "I Got U", "Ocean Drive" and "Won't Look Back" which both reached number one and number two on the UK Singles Chart respectively. He founded the record label called Blasé Boys Club and has also used it as an alias for production. He has remixed a number of songs, including several which have charted in the United Kingdom. In 2014, "Need U (100%)", was nominated for "Best Dance Recording" for the 56th Annual Grammy Awards. Next year, "I Got U" was nominated in the same category.
