Drowning Pool is an American rock band formed in Dallas, Texas in 1996. The band was named after the 1975 film The Drowning Pool. Since its formation, the band has consisted of guitarist C.J. Pierce, bassist Stevie Benton, and drummer Mike Luce, as well as a revolving cast of vocalists, the latest being Jasen Moreno.
Thin Lizzy is the debut studio album by Irish rock band Thin Lizzy, released on 30 April 1971. The album was followed by the EP New Day, produced and recorded by Nick Tauber at Decca Studios on 14–17 June 1971 and released on 20 August 1971. The songs from the EP were included in later editions of the album.
Soil is an American rock band that was formed in Chicago, Illinois in 1997. After some independent releases, the band was the first rock group signed to J Records and achieved mainstream success with their major label debut, Scars, in 2001. The J Records second album, Redefine, was released in 2004 and the band embarked upon a worldwide tour to follow. In late 2004, frontman Ryan McCombs left the group. He would go on to become the new vocalist of Drowning Pool the following year.

This led to Soil developing demos that eventually gained them a major label deal with J Records.

Although the band's second album, it was their first major label release and proved to be their most commercially successful. Its popular single, "Halo", effectively launched the band into mainstream exposure. Scars was the first rock album released through J Records.
Redefine is the third studio album by American rock band Soil. It was released on March 23, 2004 via J Records. Redefine was Soil's final album with vocalist Ryan McCombs before he left the band in October that year. It was also Soil's last release through J Records after the band was dropped following the BMG/Sony merger.
Ryan McCombs is an American singer and songwriter. From 1997 to 2004, he was the lead singer of rock band Soil. McCombs has also served as the vocalist for alternative metal band Drowning Pool from 2005 until his departure in 2011; he was the longest-serving vocalist for the band at the time of his departure. In 2011, McCombs reunited with Soil.
El Chupacabra is an EP by American rock band SOiL. The name of the EP refers to a mythical Puerto Rican beast, and literally means "goat-sucker" in Spanish. Songs from the EP later appeared on Soil's first album, Throttle Junkies.

Full Circle is the third studio album by American rock band Drowning Pool, released on August 7, 2007 by Eleven Seven. It is their first of two studio releases with Ryan McCombs, then former singer of SOiL, who joined the band after the departure of Jason 'Gong' Jones in 2005. The first single off the album, "Soldiers", is dedicated to the United States Army.

Kill, I Oughtta is the debut extended play of American metal band Mudvayne. It was self-released by the band in 1997. In 2001, the EP was reissued by Epic Records under the title The Beginning of All Things to End. The reissue featured, as additional tracks, remixes of "Dig", the rare unreleased track "Fear", and "L.D. 50", a 17-minute sound collage which originally appeared as interludes on that album. It is the only release by Mudvayne to have any participation from original bassist Shawn Barclay.

Picture Perfect is the final album to feature vocalist A.J. Cavalier, with Ryan McCombs making his return to the band in late 2011. Two singles were released from the album, "Like It Is" and "The Lesser Man".
Whole is the sixth studio album by American rock band SOiL, released in August 2013. It is the first album since 2004 to feature Ryan McCombs as lead vocalist, having returned to the band in 2011. The album was funded through Kickstarter, with the song "My Time" released exclusively for backers on December 10, 2012. The album version of "My Time" was changed slightly, while the Kickstarter version of the song was re-released in the compilation album Scream: The Essentials. A lyric video for the song "Amalgamation" was released on August 9, 2013 to promote the album. Whole features three singles, "Shine On", "The Hate Song" and "Way Gone". Additionally, a music video was produced for "Shine On".
Thegodmachine is the debut studio album by American metalcore band Phinehas. The band was signed to the independent Christian metal label, Red Cord Records, shortly after the album's production was finished. The album was physically released on July 19, 2011, and was later digitally released on September 30, 2011. It was produced by the band themselves and Jeff Darcy.
