Living Sacrifice is an American Christian metal band formed in Little Rock, Arkansas in 1989. The band has released eight studio albums, out of which the first three were recorded under R.E.X. Records with their original vocalist Darren Johnson as a more thrash metal and death metal oriented band. The band evolved into a groove metal and metalcore style beginning with Reborn (1997) under Solid State Records with the original guitarist Bruce Fitzhugh on vocals. In 2003, the group disbanded due to other projects and later their label, Solid State, released their best-of album, In Memoriam (2005). In 2008, Living Sacrifice reformed and released a two-song digital only single called Death Machine. They then began working on The Infinite Order which was released on January 26, 2010. Lance Garvin and Bruce Fitzhugh are the two remaining original members.
Becoming the Archetype is an American heavy metal band formed in Atlanta, Georgia, in 1999. They have released six albums on Solid State Records. Dichotomy, which was released in November 2008, sold around 2,300 copies in the United States in its first week of release, according to Nielsen Soundscan. The CD debuted at No. 18 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the top 100 of the Billboard 200. The band was part of the new wave of American heavy metal. After 2012's I Am, the band went on an indefinite hiatus. In 2022, however, the band reunited with the lineup of Jason Wisdom, Seth Hecox, and Brent “Duck” Duckett.

To date, Norma Jean has released nine studio albums and received a Grammy Award nomination in 2006 for Best Recording Package for their second album O' God, the Aftermath. The band's name is derived from the real name of actress Marilyn Monroe.
Tantrum of the Muse was a heavy metal band based out of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. The band formed in 1998 and disbanded in 2004. The band members refers to their existence as "The Tantrum Reign of Terror".
Anagnorisis is a German producer, songwriter, and musician. Anagnorisis is especially well known for his work with the band Sariola, where he plays almost all instruments as a studio-musician. Live, he prefer to play guitars. Besides Sariola, Anagnorisis is the main songwriter and composer of the punk band P.A.D.L.O. which achieved success in the Russian and German-Russian punk scene and Black Metal Band Vredesbyrd, which is known for its raw-old-school-black metal style. Anagnorisis also writes movie soundtracks and background music for diverse film productions. As producer and sound engineer, he worked with the bands like Sariola, Demise Empire, Dogma, and diverse productions of choral and classical music. Since year 2008, Anagnorisis works on some electronic projects.
Bruce Fitzhugh is the second and best known lead vocalist, rhythm guitarist and founding member of Arkansas's Christian metal band Living Sacrifice. The lead vocalist role was left to Bruce shortly after the departure of former lead Darren Johnson and prior to the recording of Living Sacrifice's 1997 album, Reborn. Fitzhugh is featured in Zao's The Lesser Lights of Heaven DVD. Fitzhugh's nephew is Drew Garrison, Vocalist for Descended From Wolves and Becoming Saints.
Impending Doom is an American Christian deathcore band from Riverside, California. The group has released six full-length studio albums and are currently a four piece with lead vocalist Brook Reeves as one of the two original remaining members along with Manny Contreras who left the band in 2010 but returned in 2012. The band refers to their style of music as "gorship" - a portmanteau of the words gore and worship.
Jason Wisdom is an American musician who is the lead vocalist and bass guitarist for the heavy metal band Becoming the Archetype. Though he was born and raised in a Christian home, he states that he was never committed to Christianity until high school. He considers his music as a form of ministry, but wishes to avoid a "preachy" stereotype. His influences include Extol, Living Sacrifice, and Mortification among others. Wisdom notes that even though his music is Christian metal, many of his fans are not Christians and are many times the ones who defend his music. Wisdom left the band in late November 2011 to take care of his family. Though current 7 Horns 7 Eyes frontman, JJ Polachek, tried out, Wisdom was replaced by former live fill in, Chris McCane. He started a solo project titled Death Therapy, which features no guitars. He currently works for RYFO, a company that helps musicians with places to stay, meals and other such things.
Lifesavers Underground was one of many Michael Knott projects. The band formed in 1986 and combined elements of an earlier Knott project called Idle Lovell and LSU's sunnier alter ego Lifesavers.
Beartooth is an American rock band founded by vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Caleb Shomo in Columbus, Ohio, in 2012. Originally Shomo performed every instrument when in the studio, before being joined by a four-piece band. Beartooth has been signed to Red Bull Records since 2013; its debut EP Sick was released on July 26, 2013, followed by the debut full-length album Disgusting on June 10, 2014. Since then, Shomo has released a further four studio albums under the Beartooth moniker: Aggressive (2016), Disease (2018), and Below (2021). The band's fifth studio album, The Surface, was released on October 13, 2023.
A Past Unknown was an American Christian metal band from Cedar Falls, Iowa. They were known for playing a metalcore style with a more melodic metalcore sound. The band started making music in 2009, and their members at the time were lead vocalist, Grant Lilly, guitarists, Nick Powell and Trevor Rozendaal, bassist, Dirk Wiese, and drummer, Adam Aalderks. When Aalderks left the band, Jack Van Gent became the drummer. The band released their first studio album, To Those Perishing, in 2011 with Red Cord Records. Their second studio album, Vainglory, was released by Red Cord Records, in 2012. They disbanded in the middle of 2013.
UnTeachers is a heavy metal band from Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The band has released a split EP with Grace & Thieves, and a full-length album, titled, A Human Comedy which debuted No. 10 on Seth Werkheiser's Top 10 of 2014.
Demise of Eros was a metalcore band from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania that formed in late 2003. The band signed to Strike First Records, a subsidiary of Facedown Records. The band disbanded in 2006.
Depravity's Demise is the debut of melodic death metal band Solamors. The band recorded the album with Jon Star, former Lead Guitarist for Becoming the Archetype, which Vocalist Jason Wisdom and Guitarist/Bassist/Keyboardist Alex Kenis were also a part of.
Death Therapy is an American Christian metal band from Atlanta, Georgia. The project was formed in 2015 by Jason Wisdom, the bassist and vocalist of Becoming the Archetype. The band has since signed with Solid State Records and have released three albums, The Storm Before the Calm, Voices, Melancholy Machines, and a demo. The band has described their sound as industrial groove metal.

Giuseppe Capolupo is an American drummer who typically performs metalcore. Capolupo has been in bands such as Renfield, Demise of Eros, Haste the Day and Once Nothing, as well as formed his own band, Gypsy and His Band of Ghosts. Capolupo joined The Devil Wears Prada as a fill-in drummer, with the eventual plan of becoming an official member.
