Solomon Schechter Day School of Bergen County is a Coeducational Jewish Day School at 275 McKinley Avenue in New Milford, New Jersey, United States. The school is a member of the New Jersey Association of Independent Schools. [1] It enrolls 434 students from age 3 through 8th grade, has a staff count of 93 from both New York (state) and New Jersey.

History

In 1973–74, the Solomon Schechter Day School of Bergen County opened. [2]

The school has an indoor basketball court with stage, fitness center, library, Holocaust Resource Room, Innovation lab with 3D printers, art and music rooms, computer lab, Beit Midrash, and kosher cafeteria. The campus also includes outdoor basketball courts, AstroTurf soccer fields, gaga pit, vegetable gardens and monarch butterfly sanctuary. [3]

The Dwight-Englewood School (D-E) is an independent coeducational college-preparatory day school, located in Englewood in Bergen County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The school teaches students from pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade in three functionally separate schools. The Lower School, formerly known as the Bede School, serves students in pre-kindergarten through 5th grade in Drapkin Hall. Jack Michael Antonoff is an American singer, musician, songwriter, and record producer. Antonoff is the lead singer of rock band Bleachers, and was the guitarist and drummer in the pop rock band Fun; the latter group released the international number-one single "We Are Young" which won the Grammy Award for Song of the Year and topped the Hot 100 for six weeks. He was previously the lead singer of the indie rock band Steel Train.
