Providence Hebrew Day School (commonly referred to as "PHDS") is a K-8 school and the oldest Jewish day school in Rhode Island. The school was founded in 1946, and moved to its current location on Elmgrove Avenue on the East Side of Providence in 1962. The current dean of PHDS is Rabbi Menachem Weissman.[ citation needed ] Rabbi Mordechai Nissel was the school's dean from March 1997 through July 2003.[ citation needed ] It is affiliated with Orthodox Judaism, but enrolls students who are Jewish of other denominations as well. [1] It is affiliated with New England Academy of Torah, a girls-only high school. At Yeshiva University, he holds the Herbert and Florence Tenzer Chair in Jewish Law and Ethics. Yitzchak Feivish Ginsburgh sometimes referred to as "the Malakh" is an American-born Israeli rabbi affiliated with the Chabad movement. In 1996 he was regarded as one of Chabad's leading authorities on Jewish mysticism. He is the leader of the Derech Chaim Movement and founder of the Gal Einai Institute, which publishes his written works. His students include Charedim, religious Zionists, and Chabad Chassidim, as well as ba'alei teshuvah. He is currently the president of a number of educational institutions, including the Od Yosef Chai yeshiva in the settlement of Yitzhar in the West Bank. Ginsburgh has lectured in various countries, and throughout Israel. His teachings cover subjects including science, psychology, marital harmony and monarchy in Israel. He has published over 100 books in Hebrew and English, most of which are edited by his students.
Yeshivas Toras Chessed is a Jewish yeshiva, or rabbinical school. Its curriculum focuses on Torah study, emphasizing the study of Talmud and Jewish law. It is based in Wellbury House, Great Offley, near Hitchin in Hertfordshire. Previously Wellbury House had been a private school for Catholic boys aged 7 to 13.
Manhattan Day School, often referred to as MDS, is a co-educational Modern Orthodox Jewish yeshiva elementary school located on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. It was founded in 1943 as Yeshivat Ohr Torah Community School, the first Jewish all-day independent school on the West Side of Manhattan. The rabbis and congregants of Congregation Ohab Zedek and The Jewish Center helped Dr. Joseph Kaminetsky to found the school, who served as its first Executive Director before being recruited by Rabbi Shraga Feivel Mendlowitz to work at Torah Umesorah. Shlomo Riskin served as dean of the school at a later time.

Yeshivat Ma'ale Gilboa is a Shiluv Yeshiva located on Kibbutz Ma'ale Gilboa in Israel's Gilboa Mountains. The Shiluv Yeshiva is unique in that it combines two years of Torah study with the full three years of army service. This is in contrast to students from Hesder Yeshivot, which serve in the army for a year and a half and complete three and a half years of Torah study. The Yeshiva emphasizes a commitment to rigorous Torah study, intellectual openness, intellectual disagreement and social consciousness.
