Solved is an American true crime television series that airs on the Investigation Discovery network. [1] The show also aired on TLC. Debuting on October 13, 2008, Solved is produced in conjunction with Digital Ranch Productions. [2]

Synopsis

The series features career-defining cases of police officers and FBI agents, with a heavy emphasis on forensic evidence. In each episode, a mysterious homicide case unfolds through first person accounts from America's elite law enforcement officers. [3]

Haunting Evidence is an American documentary television series following the travels of a psychic profiler, a spirit medium, and a paranormal investigator. The premise of the series was that this "team of unconventional investigators" could shed new light on unsolved crimes.

The New Detectives: Case Studies in Forensic Science is a documentary true crime television show that aired two to three different cases in forensic science per episode from 1996 to 2004. Episode reruns currently air on the Discovery Channel, TLC, the Investigation Discovery network, Pluto TV, and the Justice Network. Before the series was canceled, the show also aired on The History Channel and Court TV in the United States and Canal D in Canada, as well as Botswana TV. The show was also carried by international markets where the series was shown on the Discovery Channel UK, Discovery Europe, the Crime & Investigation Network in Australia, Prime TV in New Zealand, TV Norge, TV Danmark, Kanal 5 in Sweden, and RTL in the Netherlands.

CSI is a media franchise of American television series created by Anthony E. Zuiker. Thomas E. Le Noir is a 27-year law enforcement veteran with the Arlington Police Department in Arlington, Texas. Currently serving in the Cold Case Unit, Le Noir has worked more than 20 years in the department's homicide division, solving murders.

Joseph Patrick Kenda is a retired Colorado Springs Police Department detective lieutenant who was involved in 387 homicide cases over a 23-year career. He solved 356 cases, a closure rate of 92%. He was featured on the Investigation Discovery television show Homicide Hunter, on which series he recounted stories of cases that he had solved. Kenda hosts the Discovery+ show American Detective With Lt. Joe Kenda. His debut novel "All is not forgiven" was released in July 2023.

Cold Justice is an investigative true crime series originally broadcast on TNT and currently on Oxygen. The series, produced by Dick Wolf, follows former Harris County, Texas prosecutor Kelly Siegler and a team of investigators as they reopen unsolved murder cases with the consent and assistance of local law enforcement. Crime scene investigator Yolanda McClary, a veteran of the Las Vegas Metro police, also appeared on the series; McClary had earlier been the inspiration for Catherine Willows, the character portrayed by Marg Helgenberger on the series CSI.

Michael Andrew Arntfield is a Canadian academic, author, criminologist, true crime broadcaster and podcaster, a professor at the University of Western Ontario, and a Fulbright scholar. He is also a workplace violence harassment consultant, threat assessor, and former police officer. From 1999 to 2014, Arntfield was employed with the London, Ontario, Police Service as a police officer and detective. In 2014, Arntfield left policing to accept a customized academic appointment at the University of Western Ontario. Today, Arntfield teaches "literary criminology," a term he adopted combined English literature and crime studies program.
