[2] By November of the same year, the Country organized the first-ever women's football tournament, which was played from 30 October to 10 November 2024. [3]
In October 2025, the national team traveled to Djibouti to play a series of friendly matches against the host nation, marking the first such fixtures in the country's history. [4] The team played its first match on October 24, 2025, losing 4–1 to Les Gazelles.
