The Somalia national footballers team, nicknamed the Ocean Stars, represents Somalia in international football and is controlled by the Somali Football Federation (SFF), a member of the Confederation of African Football (CAF). The Somali Football Federation (SFF) was founded in 1951, and it is one of the national administrative governing bodies of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) responsible for organizing and controlling the sport of football and its competitions in the Federal Republic of Somalia, as well as the Somalia national football team. In 1962, the SFF became a FIFA member. It later joined CAF in 1968, and the Union of Arab Football Associations (UAFA) in 1974. The SFF is responsible for organizing matches between local teams and enforcing rules and regulations of the game during matches.

Elman Sports Club is a Somali sports club based in the Wadajir district of Mogadishu. It is best known for football team, which competes in the top level of Somali Premier League, Locally, it is known primarily by the nickname "The Yellows", which represents to "The Colour of team". It is known as the best team in Somalia, It is the most successful sports club in the country, and holds a national record of 15 official football trophies, Six Title of Somali Premier League, tree Somali General Daoud Cups, Five Somali Super Cups and One Somali Stars League.

Horseed FC is a Somali football club based in Mogadishu, Somalia. It was founded in 1971 by Lt. Col Mohamed Ahmed Alim, who started the Somali Armed Forces Sports Directorate recruiting from the ranks of the Army. It is seven times champion of the Somalia League. A team of Somali Armed Forces, Horseed SC was among the most formidable and recognized football clubs in the country. After the civil war broke out, it discontinued operations, but has been revived in 2013 by Gen Dahir Aden Elmi Commander of the Somalia Armed Forces. Gen Elmi revived all the different teams of Horseed Sports Club with emphasis on the Football Team which again began to compete in the Somalia Serie A league. In 2017, Col Ahmed Mohamed Hassan, was appointed as its chairman, and since then the club has seen positive changes and developments which have catapulted the club to regain its former glory.

The Indonesia National Beach Soccer Team represents Indonesia in international beach soccer competitions and is controlled by the PSSI, the governing body for football in Indonesia. In 2008, Indonesia made its first match against Timor-Leste in the 2008 Raja Muda Johor Cup, Malaysia.

The 2018 Africa Beach Soccer Cup of Nations was the third edition of the Africa Beach Soccer Cup of Nations (BSAFCON), the premier beach soccer championship in Africa contested by men's national teams who are members of the Confederation of African Football (CAF). Originally organised by Beach Soccer Worldwide (BSWW) under the title FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup CAF qualifier, in 2015, CAF became organisers and began using the BSAFCON title to which the competition was officially renamed the next year. Overall, this was the 9th edition of the event.

2021 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup International football competition

The 2021 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup was the 11th edition of the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup. Overall, this was the 21st edition of a world cup in beach soccer since the establishment of the Beach Soccer World Championships which ran from 1995 to 2004 but was not governed by FIFA. This was the sixth tournament to take place biennially; the World Cup took place annually until 2009. The tournament took place in Moscow, capital of Russia, between 19 and 29 August 2021.
