The Trinidad and Tobago National Beach Soccer Team represents Trinidad and Tobago in International Beach Soccer Competitions and is controlled by the Trinidad and Tobago Football Association, the governing body for football in Trinidad and Tobago. The team has competed in two CONCACAF Beach Soccer Championships. Finishing 7th in Nassau, Bahamas 2013 and 5th in Costa del Sol, El Salvador 2015. They won the Lucayan Cup in October 2015 defeating hosts Bahamas 5-3 and Mexico 5-4. They are currently ranked 50th in the world (7th in CONCACAF) according to Beach Soccer Worldwide.

Austin "Jack" Warner is a Trinidad and Tobago politician, businessman, and former football executive. Warner was Vice President of FIFA and President of CONCACAF until his suspension and eventual resignation from these roles in 2011. He is also the former Minister of National Security of Trinidad and Tobago and was an elected member of the country's parliament from 2007 to 2015. A former history teacher, he is the owner of Joe Public F.C., a professional football club in Tunapuna, Trinidad and Tobago.

2017 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup International football competition

The 2017 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup was the ninth edition of the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup, the premier international beach soccer championship contested by the men's national teams of the member associations of FIFA. Overall, this was the 19th edition of a world cup in beach soccer since the establishment of the Beach Soccer World Championships which ran from 1995–2004 but was not governed by FIFA. This was the fourth tournament to take place under the biennial basis; the World Cup now takes place once every two years, after taking place on a yearly basis until 2009.
