Somos Gitanos is the tenth studio album by the Gipsy Kings released in October 2001. [3] It was released in 2001 in the US, Mexico, and Japan with different song orders. The Mexican and Japanese releases have the bonus song "One Love" written by Bob Marley. The Japanese release also has the bonus songs "Inspiration" and "Volare" that appeared on Gipsy Kings and Mosaïque respectively.

Gipsy Kings French flamenco, salsa, and pop group

Gipsy Kings are a group of flamenco, salsa, and pop musicians from Arles and Montpellier in the south of France, who perform mostly in Spanish, but also mixing southern French dialects. Although the group members were born in France, their parents were mostly gitanos, Spanish Romani who fled Spain during the 1930s Spanish Civil War. They are known for bringing rumba flamenca, a pop-oriented music distantly derived from traditional flamenco music, to worldwide audiences. The group originally called itself Los Reyes.

Live in Japan is a live double album by English musician George Harrison, released in July 1992. Credited to "George Harrison with Eric Clapton and Band", it was Harrison's second official live album release, after 1971's Grammy-winning The Concert for Bangladesh. The album was recorded during his Japanese tour backed by Eric Clapton in December 1991, and it contains a selection of Harrison's hits as a solo artist alongside some of his best-known Beatles songs. Aside from the 2001 reissue of All Things Must Pass, with previously unavailable bonus tracks, Live in Japan was Harrison's last release before his death in November 2001.

This EP is not available on the U.S. version of iTunes.

Gipsy Kings is the third album by the French Rumba Catalana band Gipsy Kings, which was released in 1987. The album was their first to reach a worldwide audience, going gold across France, the UK, USA and other countries. The US and European versions of this album are identical except in some cases the song order may differ. The Japanese version released in 1995 includes an alternate version of "Vamos A Bailar" from their latest albums. The song "Inspiration" from this album famously appeared in the season five episode of Miami Vice, "World Of Trouble", in June 1988.

Tonino Baliardo French musician

Antoine "Tonino" Baliardo is a French guitarist of Spanish Gitano descent. He is the lead guitarist for Gipsy Kings, a New Flamenco group from France that has sold more than 18 million albums worldwide. He was born in Montpellier. He is the son of guitarist Manitas de Plata.

"Melody Fair" is a song by the Bee Gees, written by Barry, Robin & Maurice Gibb in 1968 and released in 1969 on their album Odessa. It was not released as a single, but this song was played on many radio stations, and was a hit in Japan. Andy Gibb's 1974 group, named Melody Fayre was named after this song. It also featured as the theme to Melody, a British film featuring a number of Bee Gees songs in its soundtrack.

Compas is the ninth studio album by rumba band Gipsy Kings. It was released in 1997 in Europe and the US, using a different song order. The European version has one completely new track, "Sueño de Noche", as well as a remixed version of "Ami Wa Wa ".

Nicolas Reyes is the lead singer, guitarist, songwriter, arranger, producer and founder of the French musical group Gipsy Kings, along with Tonino Baliardo, the group popular for their Spanish music in the 1980s. Eventhough the group members were born in France, he was brought up in a Spanish culture since their parents were gitanos who fled Catalonia during the Spanish Civil War.

"Un Amor" is a single by the Gipsy Kings released on 8 November 1988. The song has been composed by Gipsy Kings, Los Reyes, N. Reyes, T. Baliardo and J. Bouchikhi under the label of Nonesuch Records and has been later released with their self-titled album Gipsy Kings. The album itself have been published under the same label on 22 November 1988. This song was covered by Micheal Castaldo, in his album Bergamot.

Chico & the Gypsies is a French musical formation of rumba catalana, flamenco and Latin pop and rock tunes led by Jahloul Chico Bouchikhi, who was one of the founders of the Gipsy Kings. After he left the Gipsy Kings due to differences with the band, Bouchikhi formed Chico and the Gypsies in 1992.

Bamboléo 1987 single by Gipsy Kings

"Bamboléo" is a 1987 Spanish language song by Gitano-French band Gipsy Kings, from their eponymous album. The song was written by band members Tonino Baliardo, Chico Bouchikhi and Nicolas Reyes. It was arranged by Dominique Perrier. "Bamboleo" could be translated as "wobble" "swing" or "dangle" in Spanish.

<i>Verge of Love</i>

Verge of Love is the eighth studio album by Japanese singer Yōko Oginome. Released through Victor Entertainment on December 17, 1988, it was Oginome's first English-language album. The album was produced by Narada Michael Walden, who co-wrote the songs with Walter Afanasieff, Jeffrey Cohen, Joyce Imbesi, and Preston Glass. No singles from the album were released, but "Passages of Time" was re-recorded as a single in 1993. Verge of Love was reissued on April 21, 2010 with two bonus tracks as part of Oginome's 25th anniversary celebration.
