Gipsy Kings are a group of flamenco, salsa, and pop musicians from Arles and Montpellier in the south of France, who perform mostly in Spanish, but also mixing southern French dialects. Although the group members were born in France, their parents were mostly gitanos, Spanish Romani who fled Spain during the 1930s Spanish Civil War. They are known for bringing rumba flamenca, a pop-oriented music distantly derived from traditional flamenco music, to worldwide audiences. The group originally called itself Los Reyes.

Released on June 5, 1996, by A&M Records, the album became a commercial success peaking at No. 1 in the United Kingdom and No. 2 in his home country Canada. It was recorded on different locations which included Jamaica and France. 18 til I Die featured the number one song "Have You Ever Really Loved a Woman?", which had been released as a single and on the soundtrack to the film Don Juan DeMarco over a year prior, and 4 other singles: "The Only Thing That Looks Good on Me Is You", "Let's Make a Night to Remember", "Star", and "18 til I Die"; the album track "I'll Always Be Right There" was also released to radio in the United States. After the release of the album in June, to promote the album, Adams toured around North America and Europe. Perhaps the most memorable of these concerts was playing to more than 70,000 people at Wembley Stadium in July 1996. The album performed lower than expectations in the US but it sold 5 million copies worldwide.
Greatest Hits is a compilation album by the British rock band Queen, released worldwide on 26 October 1981. The album consisted of Queen's biggest hits since their first chart appearance in 1974 with "Seven Seas of Rhye", up to their 1980 hit "Flash". There was no universal track listing or cover art for the album, and each territory's tracks were dependent on what singles had been released there and which were successful. In 1992, the US version of the album Classic Queen was released following the band's rekindled popularity in the nation.

According to Allmusic.com, the album "remains a quintessential artifact of the mid-'80s" and the album's hits "still define the bombastic, melodramatic sound that dominated the pop charts of the era." The song is also featured in the 2022 sequel film Top Gun: Maverick and its soundtrack, using the same original recording.

Even though the group members were born in France, he was brought up in a Spanish culture since their parents were gitanos who fled Catalonia during the Spanish Civil War.
Till I Loved You is the twenty-fifth studio album by American singer Barbra Streisand, released on October 25, 1988 on Columbia Records. The album was particularly notable both for its thematic structure and its high-budget production, as many guest writers, producers and musicians participated during its making – Burt Bacharach and Carole Bayer Sager offered three brand new songs to the album, Quincy Jones produced "The Places You Find Love" and Luther Vandross and Dionne Warwick among others added backing vocals to the track. Also, the title track was a duet between Streisand and her then-boyfriend, actor Don Johnson. According to the liner notes of Streisand's retrospective box set: Just for the Record, the album also received a record certification in the Netherlands and in New Zealand.

Mosaïque is the fourth studio album by the Gipsy Kings, released in 1989 in Europe and Canada. The main difference between the two versions is the replacement of the instrumental "Bossamba" on the European release with "Niña morena" on the North American release. The track order also differs between the two versions, and they contain different recordings of the songs "Caminando por la calle", "Trista pena", and "Vamos a bailar".
Somos Gitanos is the tenth studio album by the Gipsy Kings released in October 2001. It was released in 2001 in the US, Mexico, and Japan with different song orders. The Mexican and Japanese releases have the bonus song "One Love" written by Bob Marley. The Japanese release also has the bonus songs "Inspiration" and "Volare" that appeared on Gipsy Kings and Mosaïque respectively.
