"Song of Life" is the fourth single released by English electronic group Leftfield and the first on a CD single release. The song was released on 12" and CD on 30 November 1992. The sleeve of the single had the footnote "dedicated to the memory of Steve Walters whose support,friendship and encouragement will never be forgotten". [1] It reached #59 in the UK charts. The song was also used as the backing track for Channel 4's Dispatches programme. The Remix 12" featured two remixes by British electronic music then-trio Underworld:"The Lemon Interrupt Mix",as well as the "Steppin' Razor Mix",which both feature on Sasha &John Digweed's mix album Renaissance:The Mix Collection . The track appears in the movie Lara Croft:Tomb Raider and its soundtrack. [2]
Iestyn George from NME wrote,"Leftfield's nine-minute opus is the pick of the bunch,magnificently constructed with a distinctly Eastern feel." [3]
British DJ and record producer John Digweed picked the song as one of his favourites in 1996,adding,"Another classic record from 'Reneissance'. I've got lots of good memories of the track. I still play it today and it still goes down really well." [4]

Tomb Raider,also known as Lara Croft:Tomb Raider from 2001 to 2008,is a media franchise that originated with an action-adventure video game series created by British gaming company Core Design. Formerly owned by Eidos Interactive,then by Square Enix Europe after Square Enix's acquisition of Eidos in 2009,the franchise focuses on the fictional British archaeologist Lara Croft,who travels around the world searching for lost artefacts and infiltrating dangerous tombs and ruins. Gameplay generally focuses on exploration of environments,solving puzzles,navigating hostile environments filled with traps,and fighting enemies. Additional media has been developed for the franchise in the form of film adaptations,comics and novels. On January 27,2023,The Hollywood Reporter exclusively reported that Amazon was in the works with Phoebe Waller-Bridge reportedly set to write a TV Show adaptation of the video game franchise. It was also reported this would involve a tie-in video game and movie in an interconnected universe,likened to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

It was the follow-up to 1999's Rhythm and Stealth and essentially contained remixes of songs from that album. The album was released on CD and double-12". Tomb Raider:Curse of the Sword is an action-adventure video game,part of the Tomb Raider series,developed by Core Design and published by Activision under license from Eidos Interactive. It was released for the Game Boy Color in 2001,and is a sequel to the first Tomb Raider for the same system. Backlog is a joint compilation album by electronic musicians Leftfield and Djum Djum,released in 1992. It contained mixes of Leftfield's first two releases "Not Forgotten" and "More Than I Know" from between 1990 and 1991 and two mixes by Neil Barnes of the Djum Djum track "Difference". It was released on CD in December 1992 on the Outer Rhythm label. Djum Djum is the stage name of rapper Neil Cole.

Tomb Raider is a 2013 action-adventure video game developed by Crystal Dynamics and published by Square Enix's European branch. It is the tenth main game in the Tomb Raider franchise and a reboot of the series,acting as the first instalment in the Survivor trilogy that reconstructs the origins of Lara Croft. Tomb Raider was released on 5 March 2013 for Microsoft Windows,PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Gameplay focus is on survival,with exploration when traversing the island and visiting various optional tombs.
