Songs of Her's is the debut compilation album by English indie pop band Her's. The nine-track album was released on 12 May 2017 through Heist or Hit Records. The compilation album consists of all of the band's recorded material up to that point, along with four new songs. [2]
In April 2016, Her's released their debut single "Dorothy". It was well received: Jamie Milton of DIY compared them to Wild Nothing, Beach Fossils and Ariel Pink. [3] The next single, "What Once Was", was released the following month. [4] In October, they released the single "Marcel", inspired by a lost ID card found in a wallet from a vintage shop. [5] A review in The Line of Best Fit described the sound as a combination of British indie, tropical beach wave, and slacker rock. [6] The next single, released in February 2017, was also reviewed in DIY. [7] "I'll Try", the final single to be included on the album, was released in April 2017, and positively received in an NME review. [8]

Songs of Her's was officially released on 12 May 2017 to positive reviews from critics. In a four-star review, Will Fitzpatrick of The Skinny compared the album's sound positively to that of Mac DeMarco. [9] Hassan Anderson of London in Stereo also compared the group's sound to DeMarco and to Frank Ocean, singling out new tracks "You Don't Know This Guy", "Medieval", and "Cool With You" as standouts. [10] The Line of Best Fit praised the song "Marcel" which they described as a "tropical track", and they said that Her's kept their usual foundation of jangle pop while adding Hawaiian instruments. English Graffiti is the third studio album by English rock band The Vaccines. It was produced by Dave Fridmann, with co-production from Cole M. Greif-Neill at Fridmann's New York studio. The album was released on 25 May 2015 through Columbia Records and charted at #2 upon release. The album marked the band's first release in two years, following the Melody Calling EP, and their first full studio album release in three, following Come of Age in 2012. Young stated that Fridmann was chosen due to both his track record in making "consistently fantastic records". It is the last album recorded with drummer Pete Robertson, who left the band after completing their 2016 U.S. tour.

Amber Mary Bain, known professionally as the Japanese House, is an English indie pop musician from Buckinghamshire. Bain contributes vocals and plays guitar, synthesizer and keyboard for her music. Bain decided to pursue a career in music as a teenager. She began writing music under the moniker The Japanese House in 2012, after being introduced to Matty Healy of the 1975, who offered to help produce her music under the label Dirty Hit. She first rose to prominence after the release of her first single, "Still", which was a critical success and premiered on BBC Radio 1.

Sucker Punch is the debut studio album by Norwegian singer Sigrid, released on 8 March 2019 through Island Records. It follows the release of Sigrid's 2018 EP Raw. None of the songs featured on Raw were included on the album; however, two were included from Sigrid's debut EP Don't Kill My Vibe (2017). NewDad are an Irish indie rock band from Galway, formed in 2018. Their music has been compared to The Cure, Beabadoobee, and Just Mustard by NME magazine. Atwood Magazine wrote of the group: "The band oozes personality with cynical but honest lyrics, colorful visual components, and poignant messages about coping with the, albeit painful, formative experiences." The group have appeared at the Green Man Festival in Wales, the Pitchfork Music Festival in Paris, and on the Irish television program Other Voices.
