Sonny Robert Fish (born 9 January 2004) is a Welsh professional footballer who plays for EFL League One club Crawley Town, as a striker. [3]

Club career

Fish began his senior career with Essex Senior League side Redbridge, joining the club at the age of 17 after time playing youth football for AFC Sudbury and Aveley. In February 2022, Fish signed for Leyton Orient. [1] [4] [5]

Following time at Leyton Orient, and a spell on loan at Isthmian League side Bowers & Pitsea, Fish signed for Crawley Town in August 2023. [6] [7] He moved on loan to Worthing later that month. [8] [9] His loan with Worthing was terminated on 29 September, and he immediately moved on loan to Tonbridge Angels. [10] On 7 February 2024, he joined Welling United for the remainder of the season on loan. [11] On 28 March 2024, he moved on loan to Gateshead. [12]

International career

Fish is a Wales under-18 international. [7]

It was the first time in the club's history that they competed in The Football League. Crawley Town competed in the Football League Two, the fourth tier of English football, where they finished 3rd, gaining promotion to League One, the third tier of English football. The club also competed in the FA Cup, where they reached the fifth round, prior to being knocked out by then Premier League club Stoke City. They also competed in the League Cup and the Football League Trophy, where they were knocked out in the first round.
