"Car Wash" is a song by the American soul and R&B band Rose Royce. Written and arranged by the ex-Motown producer Norman Whitfield, the song was the group's first single and one of the most notable successes of the 1970s disco era. "Car Wash", the theme of the 1976 film Car Wash, was Rose Royce's most successful single and the lead single from their first studio album, the Car Wash soundtrack. Reaching number one on the US Billboard Hot 100 and Hot Soul Singles charts, "Car Wash" also peaked at number three on the National Disco Action Top 30 chart and reached number nine on the UK Singles Chart in February 1977. The song was covered in 2004 by Christina Aguilera and Missy Elliott, who released their version as the single for the Shark Tale soundtrack.
"Baby Jane" is a 1983 song by British singer Rod Stewart, written by Stewart and Jay Davis released as the lead single from his twelfth studio album Body Wishes. Produced by Stewart, Tom Dowd, George Cutko and Jim Cregan, it was his most successful single since "Da Ya Think I'm Sexy" in 1978, peaking at No. 1 in the UK remaining at the top of the chart for three weeks. In the US, the song was also a big hit, peaking at no. 14 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The single also charted highly in Australia, peaking at no. 10.
"Don't Leave Me This Way" is a song written by Kenneth Gamble, Leon Huff and Cary Gilbert. It was originally released in 1975 by Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes featuring Teddy Pendergrass, an act signed to Gamble & Huff's Philadelphia International label. "Don't Leave Me This Way" was subsequently covered by American singer Thelma Houston in 1976 and British duo the Communards in 1986, with both versions achieving commercial success.
"Yes Sir, I Can Boogie" is a 1977 hit single by the Spanish vocal duo Baccara. Written by Frank Dostal and Rolf Soja, and produced by Soja, this song was a hit across Europe and became the duo's sole number one single in the United Kingdom, spending a single week at the top of the UK Singles Chart in October 1977.

"Parlez-vous français ?" is a song recorded by Spanish disco duo Baccara –Mayte Mateos and María Mendiola–, with music composed by Rolf Soja and lyrics written by Frank Dostal and Peter Zentner. It represented Luxembourg in the Eurovision Song Contest 1978, held in Paris.

Written by Werner Theunissen and produced by Eddy Hilberts, "Mississippi" was the group's first number-one single in their home country, as well as their only number-one single in most countries worldwide. In New Zealand and South Africa, "Mississippi" was their first of two number-one singles; it was the best-selling single of 1977 in the latter nation.
"Holiday Rap" is a song by Dutch musical duo MC Miker G & DJ Sven. The debut single of the duo, it was released in most European countries in 1986 and achieved success, topping the charts of the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Italy, Switzerland, and West Germany and reaching number one on the European Hot 100 Singles chart. In North America, the single did not chart in the United States but peaked at number nine in Canada.
"Belfast" is the second single of the Euro disco band Boney M.'s 1977 album Love for Sale. "Belfast" was the first Boney M. single to feature lead vocals by Marcia Barrett and became their 4th consecutive German chart-topper. In the UK Singles Chart it peaked at No. 8. It remained a popular track in the group's live shows over the years and was re-recorded by Marcia Barrett as a solo track on her album Come Into My Life (2005).
"You Can Win If You Want" is a song by German pop duo Modern Talking, released as the second and final single from their debut studio album, The 1st Album (1985). The single was released on 13 March 1985 and entered the top 10 in Germany on 13 May 1985. After spending three weeks within the top five, the single reached the top spot, eventually going gold for sales in excess of 250,000 units in Germany alone. The single peaked at number eight in France, where it also reached a gold status for sales of 500,000 units.
"Cheri, Cheri Lady" is a song by German pop duo Modern Talking from their second studio album, Let's Talk About Love (1985). It was released as the album's only single on 2 September 1985 and reached number one on the German Singles Chart, becoming the duo's third consecutive number-one single in Germany, following "You're My Heart, You're My Soul" and "You Can Win If You Want". The single spent four weeks at the top and a total of 24 weeks on the German chart, and eventually went gold, selling over 250,000 units there. "Cheri, Cheri Lady" has also been certified silver in France, denoting sales in excess of 250,000 units.

It was released by Earth and Fire as a single in November 1979 and reached the number one spot in the singles charts in the Netherlands, Switzerland, West Germany, Denmark and Portugal. It was written by keyboard player Gerard Koerts for the album Reality Fills Fantasy.
"Turn the Tide" is the debut single by Belgian vocal trance and Europop group Sylver. The song was produced in Belgium by Little Major Productions. In Belgium, it was released under the artist name Liquid featuring Silvy. The song is included on the group's debut album Chances and in French as "Je ne sais pas" as part of their second album Little Things as a ghost track at the end of the album.
"Sun of Jamaica" is a song performed by German group Goombay Dance Band, written by Ekkehard Stein and Wolfgang Jass. The song was released at the end of 1979, and subsequently included on their debut album, Sun of Jamaica.
"Sexy and I Know It" is a song by American duo LMFAO from their second and final studio album, Sorry for Party Rocking. It was released as the third single from the album on September 16, 2011. The song was written by Stefan Kendal Gordy, GoonRock, Erin Beck, George M. Robertson and Kenneth Oliver, and it was produced by Party Rock. It went to number one on the Billboard Hot 100 on January 7, 2012, and remained there for two weeks.
I'll Find My Way Home is a song written by Jon Anderson and Vangelis for the Jon and Vangelis' 1981 album The Friends of Mr Cairo. The single was released in late November 1981, reaching the top ten in several European countries including the UK Singles Chart.

"Dancing in the City" is a song by British pop-rock duo Marshall Hain, which was a No.3 hit in the UK in 1978. On its first release it spent fifteen weeks in the UK charts. It was a massive hit in South Africa, reaching the No.1 position on 3 November 1978, and holding that position for three weeks on the Springbok Charts. A re-mixed version released in 1987 reached No.81 on the UK charts.
