Spells & Secrets is a roguelike game developed by Alchemist Interactive and published by Rokaplay and Merge Games. It was released on 9 November 2023 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch.

Gameplay

Spells & Secret is an isometric roguelike (self described rogue-lite) game set in procedurally-generated wizard academy Greifenstein. The player controls a student fighting magical creatures using physics-based spells. It features a cooperative mode and character creator. [1]

Development

Spells & Secrets was developed by Düsseldorf, Germany-based studio Alchemist Interactive (formerly Lemonbomb Entertainment, developers of Stranded Sails [2] ) and published by Rokaplay and Merge Games for consoles. [3] It was crowdfunded on Kickstarter in April 2022 [4] and was shown at Future of Play Direct at E3 2022. [5] An early access version was planned for summer 2022. [1]

The game was released on 9 November 2023 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch. [6] The Xbox Series X/S was delayed to a later date. [7]

<i>Enclave</i> (video game) 2002 video game

Enclave is a third-person 3D action role-playing game developed by Starbreeze Studios, released for the Xbox in July 2002. A Microsoft Windows port was released in March 2003. A GameCube version was also in development but was eventually cancelled in early 2003. A Wii port, titled Enclave: Shadows of Twilight, was originally slated for the middle of June 2010, and was released in Europe on May 22, 2012. On 4 October 2013, the game was re-released on Steam and GOG.com and made available on OS X and Linux platforms. A remaster published by Ziggurat Interactive titled Enclave HD was released on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in June 29 2023.

Earthlock is a role-playing video game developed and published by the Norwegian company Snowcastle Games for Xbox One, Microsoft Windows, OS X, Linux, PlayStation 4, and Wii U. The Xbox One version was launched on September 1, 2016 worldwide. The Windows, OS X, and Linux versions, initially planned for release at the same time as the Xbox One release, were postponed to September 27, 2016. The game is planned to be the first volume of an Earthlock trilogy. The Wii U version was released on September 7, 2017 in Europe, and on September 14, 2017 in North America.
