St. Mary's High School is a Catholic secondary school in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. It serves most of Kitchener's Catholic students, with others attending Resurrection Catholic Secondary School. Members of its sports teams are known as the Eagles.

The school is administered by the Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board. St. Joseph Secondary School is one of few schools in the province of Ontario to offer Pre-Advanced Placement courses starting in grade 9 while most schools offer the option of Advanced Placement (AP) level classes in grade 12. Students who graduate in any course with an AP level exam completed will earn university level credits in said course. The school is also a provider of the Business and Transportation Specialist High Skills Majors (SHSM), granting students who complete the major with a Ontario Secondary School Diploma including a recognized seal for employment opportunities after graduation.

O'Connor, a priest who was born in Pickering in 1841, and who became the third Archbishop of Toronto, Ontario, Canada in 1899. The school has students in grades 9–12 and offers a wide range of academic and extracurricular activities. The current enrolment is approximately 600 students. The school colours are green and yellow, and its motto is Nil sine fide et labore, which is Latin for "Nothing without faith and work."

It is operated by the Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board and has approximately 1,350 students. The school includes an Extended French Program as well as an Advanced Placement Program for Mathematics and the Sciences. The school building is similar to that of St. Joseph Secondary School in Mississauga, which was modelled after Philip Pocock.

Father Henry Carr Catholic Secondary School is a Catholic high school in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is administered by the Toronto Catholic District School Board, formerly the Metropolitan Separate School Board. It is named after a Basilian father and founder of the Pontifical Institute of Medieval Studies, Henry Carr (1880–1963).
Marie-France Morin from Gloucester, Ontario is a former member of the Canadian national women's hockey team. She also competed with the Ottawa Raiders in the National Women's Hockey League.
Edward William Joseph MacCabe was a Canadian sports journalist and writer. He began in journalism with the Ottawa Journal in 1946, briefly wrote for the Montreal Star from 1951 and 1952, then returned to the Ottawa Journal as a columnist and its sports editor until 1977. He later served as the sports editor at the Ottawa Citizen from 1977 to 1985. He regularly reported on the Ottawa Rough Riders and covered the Grey Cup championship annually from 1947 onward. He was friends with the people he wrote about but could be ruthless when necessary, and relied on the human touch in his writings. He wrote history books for the Ottawa Hunt and Golf Club and the Canada Games, and a biography of football quarterback Russ Jackson. MacCabe detailed the history of Ottawa through sports, and wrote Christmas-themed short stories published annually in the Ottawa Journal and the Ottawa Citizen. He was inducted into the Canadian Football Hall of Fame in 1985, and the Ottawa Sport Hall of Fame in 1994.
