St. Xavier College, Maharo is a Catholic college located in Dumka, Jharkhand, India. Its first academic session was in July 2011. It is run by members of the Dumka-Raiganj Province of the Society of Jesus (Jesuits). It is a self-financed minority college that aims to provide education to marginalized people in the area. History

St. Xavier College, Maharo is managed and administered by the members of Dumka-Raiganj Province of the Society of Jesus (Jesuits). The Society of Jesus is a Christian religious order founded by St. Ignatius of Loyola in 1540, has been active in the field of education throughout the world since its origin. It administers and runs over 350 high schools, 45 university colleges, 27 technical institutes and 8 business management institutes in India, with the assistance of over 13000 lay staff, educating about 4,50,000 young people belonging to every class, community and linguistic group through the medium of English and regional languages.

The college is affiliated to Sido Kanhu Murmu University (SKMU), Maharo, Dumka. It is a self-financed minority college which has been imparting significant service in the fields of education to the marginalized humanity of the area. The college began its first academic session in July 2011. The college offers Degree courses namely B.A (English, History, Economics, Political Science, Geography and Hindi) B.Com. and B.Sc. Chemistry, ( Mathematics, Physics and Zoology) Professional Courses like BBA and BCA. The college is committed to its mission of producing men and women of both academic and human excellence.

The educational institution also provides courses in Institute of Distance and Open Learning (IDOL) under Gauhati University, Krishna Kanta Handiqui State Open University (KKHSOU), and Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) courses.

St. Paul's College, Kalamassery located at Kochi was founded by Joseph Attipetty, the late Archbishop of Verapoly to commemorate the historic visit of Pope Paul VI to India in connection with the 38th International Eucharistic Congress held in November - December 1964. The foundation stone of the college was blessed by the pope on 3 December 1964 and was solemnly laid by Samuel Mathai, the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Kerala in the presence of Joseph Attipetty on 13 February 1965. Out of his filial devotion to the Pope, the founder desired that the college be named after the Apostle Paul, the patron saint of the Pope.

St. Joseph University, Chümoukedima is a state private, Catholic research university established under Nagaland Govt. Act No. 6 of 2016 and is located in Ikishe, Chümoukedima in the Chümoukedima District of Nagaland, India. It is run by DMI Sisters & MMI Fathers with the sole goal of providing education to the people of Nagaland. It was started in the year 2016 and is recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC), Approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
