History

St. Mary's Senior High School was established on 6 February 1950 by the Catholic missionary sisters known as Sister Servants of the Holy Spirit (SSPS).The school started with ten girls and a staff of two (2) Reverend sisters namely: the late Reverend Sisters, Jane and Rosette. [3]

The school has an alliance with Accra Academy, which is seen as the brother school of St. Mary's Senior High School. This alliance is aimed at promoting intellectual development between students of both institutions. Their alliance involves the sharing of ideas at social gatherings and entertainment. [4]

She is married to the Apostle General of the Royalhouse Chapel International, Sam Korankye Ankrah, therefore serving in the role of '' Premier Lady'' of the church which she co-founded with her husband.

Mfantsiman Girls' Senior High School is an all girls second cycle institution in Saltpond in the Central Region of Ghana. The school was founded in 1960 by Kwame Nkrumah, originally under the name Saltpond Girls' Secondary School. The school is also known as 'Syte'.
