Stan Talley (born September 5, 1958) is a former American football punter. He played for the Oakland Invaders from 1983 to 1985 and for the Los Angeles Raiders in 1987. [1] [2]

Darryl Victor Talley is an American former professional football player who was a linebacker in the National Football League (NFL) for 14 seasons during the 1980s and 1990s. He played college football for West Virginia University, and was recognized as an All-American. Talley played professionally for the Buffalo Bills, Atlanta Falcons and Minnesota Vikings of the NFL, and played in four Super Bowls with the Bills.

André Leon Talley was an American fashion journalist, stylist, creative director, and editor-at-large of Vogue magazine. He was the magazine's fashion news director from 1983 to 1987, its first African-American male creative director from 1988 to 1995, and then its editor-at-large from 1998 to 2013. Often regarded as a fashion icon, he was known for supporting emerging designers and advocating for diversity in the fashion industry; while the capes, kaftans, and robes he wore became his trademark look. Andrew J. Talley is a retired American football coach. He served as the head football coach at St. Lawrence University in Canton, New York from 1979 to 1983 and Villanova University from 1985 to 2016, compiling a career college football coaching record of 257–155–2. Talley was hired by Villanova in 1984 to revive the Wildcats football program, which had been dormant since 1980. In 1997, he won the AFCA Coach of the Year Award and the Eddie Robinson Award. Talley led his 2009 Villanova team to an NCAA Division I Football Championship. He is a 1967 graduate of Southern Connecticut State University, where he played college football as a defensive back. Talley was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame as a coach in 2020.

The 2018 United States House of Representatives elections in West Virginia were held on November 6, 2018, to elect the three U.S. Representatives from the West Virginia, one from each of the state's three congressional districts. The filing deadline was January 27, 2018. The primary elections were held on May 8, 2018. The elections coincided with the other elections to the House of Representatives, elections to the United States Senate and various state and local elections.

The 1997 Villanova Wildcats football team represented Villanova University during the 1997 NCAA Division I-AA football season. It was the program's 100th season and they finished as Atlantic 10 Conference (A-10) champions after posting a perfect 8–0 record in conference play. The Wildcats earned a berth as the #1 seed into the 16-team Division I-AA playoffs, but lost in the quarterfinals to eventual national champion Youngstown State, 34–37. Villanova was led by 13th-year head coach Andy Talley. Villanova finished the year ranked #1 in the nation according to The Sports Network's final poll, which was released prior to the playoffs starting.

Benjamin B. Talley American engineer

Benjamin Branche Talley was an American engineer. He was involved in military construction in Alaska before and after World War II, and earned the nickname "the Father of Military Construction in Alaska". He was involved in planning the Normandy landings and Battle of Okinawa during World War II. After the war, Talley led various engineering districts, including the North Atlantic Division, before retiring as a brigadier general in 1956. After retirement, he was involved in civil engineering and oversaw the reconstruction of central Alaska after the Good Friday earthquake.
