West High School is a public high school in Torrance, California, United States. The mascot is the Warrior. It is a part of the Torrance Unified School District.

History

West High was established in 1962. It serves the area bounded by 190th Street, Hawthorne Boulevard, Sepulveda Boulevard and the Redondo Beach border. The school colors are brown and gold.

He played professionally as a quarterback in the National Football League (NFL) for eight seasons with the Oakland Raiders and New York Jets. Tuiasosopo was selected by the Raiders in the second round of the 2001 NFL Draft. He played college football at the University of Washington in Seattle, and was the player of the game in the 2001 Rose Bowl.

Stephen Sarkisian is an American football coach and former player. He is the head football coach at the University of Texas at Austin, a position he has held since January 2021. Sarkisian served as the head football coach at the University of Washington from 2009 to 2013, then at the University of Southern California (USC) from 2014 to 2015. He played college football as a quarterback at Brigham Young University (BYU) and professionally with the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League (CFL). Sarkisian served as the offensive coordinator for the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League (NFL) from 2017 to 2018 and at the University of Alabama from 2019 to 2020.
