Chuck Nice is an American stand-up comedian, television, and radio personality from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he started his career hosting a show atop a new-wave dance club The Bank. He bears his name from a local DJ in Jersey City that made mixtapes in the late 1990s. Nice was also heard on The Radio Chick, a comedic show formerly on 92.3 Free FM, Q104.3 FM, and WNEW FM, in New York City. Nice was a frequent contributor to VH1’s Best Week Ever and truTV's The Smoking Gun Presents: World's Dumbest..., and he performs regularly at NYC clubs including, Comic Strip Live, New York Comedy Club, Westside Comedy Club, and more. He has been featured in commercials for Direct TV, Smirnoff, Tide, and Enterprise Rent-A-Car, to name a few. He often co-hosts the TV show and podcast StarTalk alongside astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson, and he is the host of Brain Games on the Road on Nat Geo/Disney+. Starting on February 1, 2017, Nice has also been the permanent co-host of the StarTalk spinoff Playing with Science alongside Gary O'Reilly.

Neil deGrasse Tyson is an American astrophysicist, author, and science communicator. Tyson studied at Harvard University, the University of Texas at Austin, and Columbia University. From 1991 to 1994, he was a postdoctoral research associate at Princeton University. In 1994, he joined the Hayden Planetarium as a staff scientist and the Princeton faculty as a visiting research scientist and lecturer. In 1996, he became director of the planetarium and oversaw its $210 million reconstruction project, which was completed in 2000. Since 1996, he has been the director of the Hayden Planetarium at the Rose Center for Earth and Space in New York City. The center is part of the American Museum of Natural History, where Tyson founded the Department of Astrophysics in 1997 and has been a research associate in the department since 2003.

Her research focuses on brain-behavior relationships affecting the prevention and treatment of impulsive and compulsive psychiatric disorders. She is also interested in the neural basis of consciousness, dynamic unconscious processes, and creativity. Berlin is host of the PBS Nova series Your Brain, the PBS series Science Goes to the Movies, the Discovery Channel series Superhuman Showdown, and StarTalk All-Stars with Neil DeGrasse Tyson.
Star Gazers is a short astronomy show on American public television previously hosted by Jack Horkheimer, executive director of the Miami Space Transit Planetarium. After his death in 2010, a series of guest astronomers hosted until 2011, when Dean Regas, James Albury, and Marlene Hidalgo became permanent co-hosts. In 2019, Dean Regas and James Albury stepped down from the program and were replaced by Trace Dominguez. On the weekly program, the host informs the viewer of significant astronomical events for the upcoming week, including key constellations, stars and planets, lunar eclipses and conjunctions, as well as historical and scientific information about these events.

In Brooks' absence, Case, previously a guest, was brought on as a co-host.
