Star Channel (formerly known as Fox) is a Belgian Dutch-language pay television channel broadcast in Flanders and owned by The Walt Disney Company (Benelux) BV, a unit of the Disney Entertainment division of The Walt Disney Company. It was launched on 1 October 2015 and features programming from Fox and HBO. [1] [2] [3] On 20 March 2019, Disney acquired Fox Networks Group's owner, 21st Century Fox. [4] On 1 November 2023, the channel was rebranded to Star Channel. [5]

The channel launched as Fox on 19 August 2013. A Fox-branded channel had previously been available in the Netherlands between 1998 and 2001, which has since been rebranded to Veronica. The channel has a line-up consisting of television series, sporting events and films.

Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser was a Star Wars-themed two-night live action role-playing/choose-your-own-adventure operated by The Walt Disney Company between March 1, 2022, and September 30, 2023. The experience simulated a cruise in outer space within the Star Wars galaxy, and took place in a building located next to Disney's Hollywood Studios, in the Epcot Resort Area of the Walt Disney World Resort in Bay Lake, Florida. It was thematically linked to the Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge area in Disney's Hollywood Studios.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Acquisition of 21st Century Fox by Disney</span> Business acquisition held from 2017 to 2019

The acquisition of 21st Century Fox by The Walt Disney Company was announced on December 14, 2017, and was completed on March 20, 2019. Among other key assets, the acquisition included the 20th Century Fox film and television studios, U.S. cable channels such as FX, Fox Networks Group, a 73% stake in National Geographic Partners, Indian television broadcaster Star India, and a 30% stake in Hulu. The assets like the Fox Broadcasting Company, Fox Television Stations, Fox News Channel, Fox Business, Fox Sports 1 and 2, Fox Deportes, and the Big Ten Network were not part of the deal and they were spun off into a new company called Fox Corporation on March 19, 2019. Other 21st Century Fox assets such as the Fox Sports Networks and Sky were divested and sold off to Sinclair and Comcast, respectively.

Fox Life, now rebranded as Star Life and FX Life, was an international pay television network, launched by the Fox Networks Group in 2004. The network has been discontinued in several markets over time, and is currently active in the Middle East, Portugal, the Baltic states, the CIS, Malta, and India.

Fox was a Swedish television channel broadcast in Sweden and owned by the Fox Networks Group, a unit of the Disney Media and Entertainment Distribution division of The Walt Disney Company. It launched on 22 September 2014, and ceased broadcasting on 1 January 2021.
