Star in the Hood EP Vol. 1 is the second extended play (EP) by recording artist Tinchy Stryder. It was released in June 2009 by Takeover Entertainment prior to the release of Stryder's second solo studio album, Catch 22 . The EP is the first of a two-part free downloadable EP. Its cover art is a photo taken during the Catch 22 promo shoot.

Kwasi Danquah, known by the stage name Tinchy Stryder, is a Ghanaian-British rapper, singer, songwriter, entrepreneur and investor.
Star in the Hood is the debut studio album by recording artist Tinchy Stryder. It was released on 13 August 2007 on Takeover Entertainment Limited, and was well received by the grime scene.
"Take Me Back" is a song by British rapper Tinchy Stryder, featuring vocals from Taio Cruz, it was produced by Fraser T Smith. The song features on Stryder's album Catch 22 and was released as the album's second single on 19 January 2009. The music video features both Tinchy Stryder and Taio Cruz in various black and white backgrounds as well as in front of cars, large dogs and women dancing in swim costumes.

The song samples Leona Lewis' Run which in turn is a cover of the original performed by Snow Patrol.
"Never Leave You" is a song composed and performed by Tinchy Stryder. The song, written by Taio Cruz is the fourth single from Stryder's second studio album, Catch 22 as a digital download on 2 August 2009 and then as a CD single on 3 August 2009. It features guest vocals by Amelle Berrabah, a member of British girl group, the Sugababes and received airplay on many radio stations in the UK including BBC 1Xtra. Cloud 9 The EP is the first extended play (EP) by recording artist Tinchy Stryder, and his fourth solo release to date. It was released on 31 March 2008 by Takeover Entertainment exclusively to iTunes UK store and U.S. store on 29 May 2011. Its cover art is a dark painting taken during the Star in the Hood promo shoot. The track, "Sorry, You Are?", featuring Chipmunk, from Stryder's 2007 debut studio album Star in the Hood, was included on the EP as track #2.
