Cloud 9 The EP is the first extended play (EP) by recording artist Tinchy Stryder, and his fourth solo release to date. It was released on 31 March 2008 by Takeover Entertainment exclusively to iTunes UK store and U.S. store on 29 May 2011. [1] Its cover art is a dark painting taken during the Star in the Hood promo shoot. The track, "Sorry, You Are?", featuring Chipmunk, from Stryder's 2007 debut studio album Star in the Hood , was included on the EP as track #2.

"You're Not Alone" is a song composed by British recording artist Tinchy Stryder. The song was released as the fifth and final single from Stryder's second studio album, Catch 22 on 2 November 2009. On the week of the album's release, the track charted at No. 50 in the UK, based mostly on hype around the track which had received its first play on the BBC Radio 1 chart show the previous week. Tinchy Stryder performed the song at the MOBO Awards 2009 on 30 September, it then entered the top 40 on the UK Singles Chart on 10 October 2009 at number 32, next week on 17 October it climbed to number 14 in the UK, it dropped to number 15 in its 3rd week in the UK top 40. The song interpolates "You're Not Alone", a hit in 1997 for the band Olive. Olive claimed in an interview they would hope Tinchy Stryder would return the favour and collaborate with them on a song for their upcoming album. The song samples Leona Lewis' Run which in turn is a cover of the original performed by Snow Patrol.

"Mainstream Money" is the third and final single from grime vocalist Tinchy Stryder's debut album, Star in the Hood. The single was released in November 2007. The song was written and produced by renowned grime music producer Maniac, who has claimed that the instrumental for the track is the one he is most proud of. The song was also notable for being heard on the BBC soap "EastEnders" several times in late 2007. The track "Sorry, You Are?" was also released as part of the single. It features vocals from fellow rapper Chipmunk, and later featured as a hidden track on Star in the Hood, and also appeared on Cloud 9: The EP.
