State Highway 57 is a State highway in Tamil Nadu that connects Singaperumal Koil on GST Road with Thiruvallur via Oragadam and Sriperumbudur on NH 4. The road from Singaperumal Koil till sriperumbudur is converted into six lane as automotive corridor . Some parts of this stretch are four-laned (incomplete) but the majority of this stretch is just a single-lane road. Quite a number of buses and trucks travel on this stretch. The road condition between Oragadam and Sriperambadur is comparatively better. Most of this stretch is four-laned. SH-57 would be an ideal gateway to connect to NH-45 from NH-4 and vice versa once the stretch between Sriperambadur and Oragadam is completely 4 laned. The Renault Nissan manufacturing plant is in Oragadam [1] and can be accessed via this road. The plant is closer to Oragadam in the stretch between Oragadam and Singaperumal Koil. Chennai Bypass

The Chennai Bypass is a full-access controlled expressway that interconnects four radial Indian National Highways around Chennai, India covering a distance of 32 km (20 mi) from Perungalathur on NH45 to puzhal on NH 5 via Maduravoyal at a cost of 4.05 billion. Constructed as part of the National Highway Development Project to decongest the city of transiting vehicles, the expressway interconnects NH45, NH4, NH205 and NH5. This expressway now forms a part of the circular transportation corridor.

Automotive Corridor, is a 60 km long corridor in Chennai, India. This corridor alone accounts for 33% of commercial vehicles, 21% of all passenger cars, and 35% of auto components which are produced in the country. The corridor stretches from Gummidipoondi, 50 km north of Chennai to Maraimalai Nagar 35 km south of Chennai and passes through Tiruvallur, Sriperumbudur and Oragadam. It is estimated that a part of this corridor from Tiruvallur to Maraimalai Nagar alone, by 2012, would produce around 1.25 million cars, 35,000 commercial vehicles and other automotives per year.

Kochi Bypass

The Kochi Bypass is a segment of NH66(National Highway 66) that bypasses the CBD of the city of Kochi in Kerala, India. The highway stretches 17 km from Edapally in the Ernakulam district to Aroor in Alappuzha district, via. Palarivattom, Vyttila, Kundannoor, Madavana, Kumbalam. The Government of Kerala began the preliminary works in 1973. After a slow progress, it was partially opened for traffic in the beginning years of the 1980s. The section between Edapally and Vyttila had four lanes from the beginning. The rest of the carriageway was also upgraded to different sections of 4 lane, 5lane and 6 lanes by 2010

EVR Periyar Salai

EVR Periyar Salai (EVR High Road), earlier known as Poonamallee High Road(NH 48), is an arterial road in Chennai, India. It is the longest road in Chennai. Running from east to west, the 14-kilometre (8.7 mi) road starts at Muthuswamy Bridge near Madras Medical College at Park Town and ends near Maduravoyal Junction via Kilpauk, Aminjikarai, Anna Nagar Arch, Arumbakkam, Koyambedu. It further continues west towards Poonamallee and traverses Sriperumbudur, Walajapet, and Ranipet.

National Highway 66, commonly referred to as NH 66, is a 1,608 km (999 mi) long busy National Highway that runs roughly north–south along the western coast of India, parallel to the Western Ghats. It connects Panvel to Cape Comorin (Kanyakumari), passing through the states of Maharashtra, Goa, Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu.

National Highway 87 is a National Highway in southern India. It crosses the Pamban Bridge before entering into Pamban Island. The total length runs up to 154 km (96 mi). The 5 km road between Mukundarayar Chathiram and Dhanuskodi was destroyed during the 1964 cyclone. Then the Government of India has started construction of the new stretch of road on 2015 and opened to vehicles with some restrictions on Feb'2017 at a cost of ₹ 250 million. At the same time, the road between Madurai and Rameswaram was converted from a two lane road to a four-lane highway. Then Union minister for road transport and shipping Shri.Nitin Gadkari laid the foundation stone for the Rs 1,387-crore project in Madurai on 17 July 2015. An initial outlay of Rs 927 crore was made {May 2019} and the project has been sanctioned for Rs 1,387 crore. Then the first 75km stretch from Madurai to Paramakudi was proposed to be converted into a proper four-lane road which is a Green Highway, while the remaining 39km stretch from Paramakudi to Ramanathapuram was widened as a two-lane road with paved shoulders. This road includes bypass from Madurai to Manalur which is a newly constructed route skipping the old route(which runs through Puliyankulam and Silaiman), and has bypasses at several places like Thiruppuvanam, Thiruppachethi, Rajagambiram, Paramakudi and Ramanathapuram which would substantially ease traffic congestion in these towns and also saves time for those tourists who are going to Rameswaram. Falling under the Old NH-49, this project is one of the largest completed green corridor in Tamil Nadu by the National Highways Authority of India in the recent times.

National Highway 216 (India) National highway in India

National Highway 216 is a National Highway in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. The former highways of NH 214 and 214A were merged and renumbered as NH 216. It starts from NH 16 junction at Kattipudi and passes through Kakinada, Amalapuram, Digamarru (Palakollu), Narasapuram, Machilipatnam, Bapatla, Chirala before it junctions NH 16 again at Ongole. Visakhapatnam–Kakinada Petro Chemical Corridor, is a proposed project along the highway.

Mannivakkam neighbourhood in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India

Mannivakkam is a town of Chennai Metropolitan City in the Indian state of Tamil-Nadu India. Mannivakkam lies between Vandalur and Mudichur, 7.5 kilometers from Tambaram and 2 kilometers from Vandalur. Mannivakkam is listed in CMDA's Chennai Metropolitan Area (CMA) master plan as village number 1 under Kattankolathur Panchayat Union. The town is well connected with industrial areas such as Oragadam and Sriperambadur by road and also with Maraimalai Nagar and Mahindra World City, Chennai by road as well as suburban railways.

National Highway 361, commonly called NH 361, is a national highway in India that runs entirely within the state of Maharashtra. Its western terminal is in Tuljapur near the intersection of NH 52 and the eastern terminal is in Butibori near Nagpur at the intersection of NH 44. The total length of the highway NH-361 is 548 km. It is a spur road of National Highway 61.

Delhi-Amritsar-Katra Expressway NE 5 and NE 5A is an under-construction 687-kilometre-long (427 mi) 6 to 8 lanes controlled-access expressway, which will connect Delhi with Amritsar in Punjab and Katra in Jammu and Kashmir. From Delhi the expressway goes to Nakodar in Jalandhar district where it Y-forks into two separate spurs, one of which goes west to Amritsar and another northwest to Katra. This Expressway will reduce the current Delhi-Katra distance from 727 km to 588 km or from 14 hours to 8 hours and Delhi-Amritsar distance to 405 km or from 8 hours to 4 hours. It will have trauma centre, ambulance, fire brigade, traffic police, bus bays, truck stops, interchanges with refreshment and recreational facilities.
