A statue of Gilbert du Motier, Marquis de Lafayette is installed in Los Angeles' Lafayette Park, in the U.S. state of California. The sculpture was installed at the park's Wilshire Boulevard entrance in 1937. [1] [2] [3]
MacArthur Park is a park dating back to the late 19th century in the Westlake neighborhood of Los Angeles. In the early 1940s, it was renamed after General Douglas MacArthur, and later designated City of Los Angeles Historic Cultural Monument #100.

From the east boundary, it runs a block south of Sixth Street to its terminus.

The Bryson Apartment Hotel is a historic 110,000-square-foot (10,000 m2), ten-story apartment building on Wilshire Boulevard in the MacArthur Park section of Los Angeles, California. Built in 1913 in the Beaux Arts style, it was one of the most luxurious residential buildings in Los Angeles for many years. The building is also closely associated with the city's film noir history, having been featured in Raymond Chandler's works and the 1990 neo-noir The Grifters. The building's stone lions and large rooftop "Bryson" sign have become Los Angeles landmarks. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983 and designated a Historic Cultural Monument (#653) by the Los Angeles Cultural Heritage Commission in 1998.
Lafayette Square is a seven-acre public park located within President's Park in Washington, D.C., directly north of the White House on H Street, bounded by Jackson Place on the west, Madison Place on the east and Pennsylvania Avenue on the south. It is named for the Marquis de Lafayette, a French aristocrat and hero of the American Revolutionary War (1775–1783) and includes several statues of revolutionary heroes from Europe, including Lafayette, and at its center a famous statue of early 19th century U.S. president and general Andrew Jackson on horseback with both of the horse's front hooves raised.

Wilshire/La Cienega station is an under construction, underground rapid transit station on the D Line of the Los Angeles Metro Rail system in Beverly Hills, California, at the intersection of Wilshire Boulevard and La Cienega Boulevard. It is in the design/construction phase of the D Line Extension project. Deep tunneling is proceeding westward beneath Wilshire Boulevard from the Fairfax construction site toward the La Cienega station site. Originally the project was slated for completion in 2023. The station's opening is now scheduled for 2025.
Wilshire/Rodeo station is an under construction, underground rapid transit station on the D Line of the Los Angeles Metro Rail system. It is currently under construction as part of the D Line Extension project, in Beverly Hills, California. Construction started in 2018 as part of Section 2 of the extension project. It is slated to open in 2026.

A bronze statue of Salvadoran archbishop Óscar Romero is installed in Los Angeles' MacArthur Park, in the U.S. state of California. The 6.5-foot, 450-pound sculpture was made in El Salvador by artist Joaquin Serrano. The artwork was installed in November 2013, and cost $350,000.
