SteamWorld Tower Defense is a tower defense video game by Swedish video game developer Image & Form. It was released digitaIIy on Nintendo DSi in North America, Europe and Australia on July 5, 2010. [1] It is the first game released in the SteamWorld series. [2]
In SteamWorld Tower Defense the player controls an army of steam-powered robots in a tower defense-style gameplay. The aim of the game is to take down wandering troops of human invaders in their attempt to steal gold from the robots' mining facilities. To clear a mission, the player must take down waves of human soldiers by building and strategically placing out attack robots with a range of abilities and weapons. It's possible to play the game on several difficulty levels. [3]

SteamWorld Tower Defense on Nintendo DSi has received "mixed or average" reviews from critics, with a current score of 71/100 on Metacritic. [4]
Lucas M Thomas of IGN gave the game an eight out of ten, praising how polished the game's presentation was for a DSi title. Andrew Wight of Nintendo Life noted that the game's fun was accompanied by "frustratingly difficult" segments that hindered its overall quality, praising it for being a fun title nevertheless.
On their YouTube channel, Image & Form revealed that SteamWorld Tower Defense is the hardest game the studio has created. Apparently, the game's lead developer is the only of Image & Form employees to finish the game. [8]

Chronos Twins, known in the PAL region as Chronos Twin, is an action-adventure game developed by Spanish studio EnjoyUP Games, released in the PAL region in 2007. It was also released in North America on January 18, 2010 and in Europe on May 14, 2010 as a download for the Nintendo DSi system. The game puts a different perspective on time travel than most games. Mighty Flip Champs! is a puzzle-platform game, developed and published by WayForward Technologies for the Nintendo DSi's DSiWare digital download service. It was released on June 1, 2009, in North America and on November 27 in the PAL regions. The developers took inspiration from multiple sources, including the video games Wendy: Every Witch Way and The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. In it, players control Alta, a girl who has to reach a fishman by flipping between areas until she can reach him. Since its release, Mighty Flip Champs! received all-around positive reception, while also being called one of the best video games for the DSiWare service. The second installment in the SteamWorld series after SteamWorld Tower Defense, SteamWorld Dig has the player control Rusty, a steam-powered robot who arrives at a small Western mining town called Tumbleton after having received a deed for a mine from his long-forgotten uncle, Joe. The objective of the game is to dig through Tumbleton's mine, which also involves solving puzzles and platforming to avoid traps and enemies.
