Glamorgan County Cricket Club is one of eighteen first-class county clubs within the domestic cricket structure of England and Wales. It represents the historic county of Glamorgan. Founded in 1888, Glamorgan held minor status at first and was a prominent member of the early Minor Counties Championship before the First World War. In 1921, the club joined the County Championship and the team was elevated to first-class status, subsequently playing in every top-level domestic cricket competition in England and Wales.
Port Talbot Steelworks is an integrated steel production plant in Port Talbot, West Glamorgan, Wales, capable of producing nearly 5 million tonnes of steel slab per annum. This makes it the larger of the two major steel plants in the UK and one of the largest in Europe. Over 4,000 people work at the plant. The majority of the slab is rolled on-site at Port Talbot and at the Newport Llanwern site to make a variety of steel strip products. The remainder is processed at other Tata Steel plants or sold in slab form. The works covers a large area of land which dominates the south of the town. Its two blast furnaces and steel production plant buildings are major landmarks visible from both the M4 motorway and the South Wales Main Line when passing through the town.
Snibston Colliery Ground was a cricket ground in Coalville, Leicestershire. The land for the cricket ground was originally set aside for the miners at Snibston Colliery. Snibston Colliery was used as an outground by Leicestershire following the Second World War, with the county first playing there against Glamorgan in 1957 County Championship. Leicestershire player there intermittently until 1982, playing eight first-class matches there, plus a single List A one-day match against Glamorgan in the 1970 John Player League. The loss of first-class cricket at Snibston Colliery coincided with a downturn in fortune of the colliery. Snibston Grange Cricket Club continued to play at and maintain the ground, with Coalville Town F.C. moving to part of the ground in 1995 and establishing their Owen Street Sports Ground there. The cricket club folded in 2013, leaving Coalville Town F.C. as the sole tenant of the site.
The Gnoll in Neath, Wales is a sports ground, with a capacity of 6,000. It is used primarily for rugby union and rugby league, although it has also been used previously for association football and cricket. The stadium has hosted international rugby matches, with it being the home ground of the Wales women's national rugby union team, and men's matches included one during the 2013 Rugby League World Cup against the Cook Islands.
David James was a Welsh cricketer. He was a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium-fast bowler who played first-class cricket for Glamorgan. He was born in Briton Ferry and died in Margam.
Pen-y-Pound is a cricket ground in Abergavenny, Wales. It is the home of Abergavenny Cricket Club, who play in the South Wales Cricket League. The ground was first used by the Glamorgan 1st XI in 1981 for limited over matches and in 1983 for County Championship matches. Between 1985 and 1997, the ground hosted a County Championship match annually. However, Glamorgan have only used the ground twice since then.
Uttoxeter Road is a cricket ground located along the Uttoxeter Road between the villages of Lower Tean and Checkley in Staffordshire. The ground is surrounded on all sides by countryside.
May's Bounty is a cricket ground situated along Bounty Road in Basingstoke, Hampshire, England. The ground is compact and is lined on all sides by trees, with its northern side overlooked by residential housing. The Bounty was used intermittently by Hampshire County Cricket Club in the early 20th-century, before Hampshire began to play there annually from 1966 to 2000. The ground is owned by the Basingstoke Sports and Social Club and is used in club cricket by Basingstoke and North Hants Cricket Club. The ground has a capacity for major matches of 2,500, while its end names are called the Town End to the north and the Castlefield End to the south.
Tor Leisure Ground, previously known as Morlands Athletic Ground until 1986, is a former first-class cricket ground located in Glastonbury, Somerset. It hosted first-class matches for Somerset County Cricket Club between 1952 – 1973, and List A cricket between 1969 – 1978. It has been the home of Glastonbury Cricket Club since at least 1893, when the first recorded match was played on the ground. The highest individual first-class score made on the ground was 187* by Glamorgan's Alan Jones in a 1963 County Championship match.
Lamphey Cricket Club Ground is a cricket ground in Lamphey, Pembrokeshire. The first recorded match on the ground was in 1995, when Pembrokeshire Under-19 played Glamorgan Under-19. In 2002, Wales Minor Counties played a Minor Counties Championship match at the ground against Berkshire, the only Minor Counties Championship match on the ground to date.

Parc-y-Dwrlyn Ground is a cricket ground in Pentyrch, Glamorgan. The first recorded match on the ground was in 1993, when Glamorgan played Northamptonshire in a List-A match in the 1993 AXA Equity and Law League.
Hoover's Sports Ground was a cricket ground in Merthyr Tydfil, Wales. The site of the ground was previously the site of a disused railway siding. The Hoover Company, a major employer in the town, bought the site and levelled it. A cricket ground with changing facilities was constructed, with the square being ready by 1953. The first recorded match held on the ground came 1959, when Somerset, Ebbw Vale and Hoovers XI played Glamorgan.
Cowbridge Cricket Ground is a cricket ground in Cowbridge, Glamorgan. The first recorded match held on the ground came in 1895 when the creator of the ground, E H Ebsworth's XI played The Rev'd Owen Jones' XI.
BP Oil Refinery Ltd Ground is a cricket ground in Llandarcy, Neath Port Talbot, Wales. The first recorded match on the ground was in 1950, when the Glamorgan Second XI played the Gloucestershire Second XI in the 1950 Minor Counties Championship. The ground has held a further 19 Second XI fixtures for the Glamorgan Second XI in both the Second XI Championship and Second XI Trophy.
