Step Up to the Microphone is the seventh studio album by Christian pop rock band Newsboys, released in 1998 through Star Song Communications. It was the Newsboys' first album following the departure of lead singer John James in 1997, with Peter Furler and Phil Joel subsequently sharing lead vocal duties.

Newsboys are a Christian rock band founded in 1985 in Mooloolaba, Queensland, Australia, by Peter Furler and George Perdikis. Now based in Nashville, Tennessee, the band has released 17 studio albums, 6 of which have been certified gold. As of 2023, the band consists of lead vocalist Michael Tait, drummer and percussionist Duncan Phillips, keyboardist Jeff Frankenstein, electric guitarist Jody Davis, and bassist Adam Agee(formerly of Stellar Kart and Audio Adrenaline) no founding members are featured in the lineup. In addition to performing music, the band has appeared in the films God's Not Dead, God's Not Dead 2, and God's Not Dead: A Light in Darkness.
Devotion is the eleventh studio album by Christian pop rock band Newsboys, released in November 2004. It is a follow up album to the band's first worship-oriented project, Adoration. It was also the first album to feature replacement guitarist Bryan Olesen. The album debuted at No. 5 on the Top Christian Albums chart, and at No. 56 on the Billboard 200 charts. Several Christian artists made guest appearances on the album, including Rebecca St. James, Bethel World Outreach Choir, Stuart Garrard, and Jon Ellis of Tree63.

Shine: The Hits is the first compilation album by Christian pop rock group Newsboys. It was released in 2000, spanning recordings from 1988 to 1998. Exclusive to the set were three new songs, an update of their 1996 hit "God Is Not a Secret", featuring TobyMac, a remix of their hit "Shine", and an eight-minute "Mega-Mix" of several of their biggest hits. Also included is an extended version of "I'm Not Ashamed", which differs from the original album version.
Take Me to Your Leader is the sixth studio album by Christian pop rock band Newsboys, released in 1996. It was both the last Newsboys album to feature lead vocalist John James and the first to feature bassist/vocalist Phil Joel. Thrive is the ninth studio album by Christian pop rock band Newsboys, released in 2002. It features the singles "It Is You", "Million Pieces ", and "Lord ". Thrive debuted at No. 38 on the Billboard 200 chart, selling 37,000 units. In 2005, Thrive – Special Edition was bundled with the previously released From the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum concert DVD. When it was pre-ordered it came with the exclusive It Is You EP.
Adoration: The Worship Album is the tenth studio album by the Christian pop rock band Newsboys, released in 2003. Unlike the band's previous albums, Adoration is a solely worship-oriented album, deviating from the Newsboys' standard pop rock sound. This was the last Newsboys' album with the long-time guitarist Jody Davis due to his daughter’s sickness, until his reunion with the group in 2009 for In the Hands of God.

The album produced one music video for the title track. Kevin Max of dc Talk does background vocals on "God's Not Dead".
Hallelujah for the Cross marks the seventeenth album from the Newsboys. Capitol Christian Music Group released the project on 4 November 2014. The Newsboys worked with producer Seth Mosley in the creation of this album.
Lost in Worship is the first studio album by Fusebox. Elevate Records alongside Inpop Records released the album on February 26, 2002.
