Stepan Gorbachev (born 2 October 1983) is a Kazakhstani gymnast. He competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics. [1]

Stepan Mikhaylovich Oschepkov was a Soviet sprint canoer who competed in the late 1950s and the early 1960s. He was born in Vladivostok, Primorsky Kray. Oschepkov won a gold medal in the C-2 10000 m event at the 1958 ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships in Prague. At the 1964 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, he won the gold in the C-2 1000 m event. He died in Vladivostok, on 3 January 2012, at age 77.

Nikolai Stepanovich Gorbachev was a Soviet-born Belarusian sprint canoer who competed in the early to mid-1970s. He won a gold medal in the K-2 1000 m event at the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich.

Mary Louise Stepan was an American competition swimmer and Olympic medalist. As a 17-year-old, Stepan represented the United States at the 1952 Summer Olympics in Helsinki. She received a bronze medal as a member of the third-place U.S. team in the 4×100-meter freestyle relay, together with teammates Jackie LaVine, Jody Alderson and Evelyn Kawamoto. Individually, Stepan also competed in the women's 100-meter freestyle, advanced to the event final, and finished seventh overall with a time of 1:08.0.

Joan Alderson, later known by her married name Joan Braskamp, was an American competition swimmer and Olympic medalist. She received a bronze medal at the 1952 Summer Olympics.
