Stephen John Anderson (born June 5, 1970) is an American storyboard artist, screenwriter, film director, and voice actor.

Career

Anderson attended the California Institute of the Arts, where he also served as a story instructor for four years.

Anderson joined Walt Disney Animation Studios in 1999 as a story artist on Tarzan . Prior to joining Disney, Anderson worked as an animator at Hyperion Animation on Rover Dangerfield and Bébé's Kids .

Following Tarzan, Anderson served as story supervisor for The Emperor's New Groove and Brother Bear . Anderson made his directorial debut with the 2007 film Meet the Robinsons and later directed the 2011 film Winnie the Pooh with Don Hall. After the release of Meet the Robinsons he pitched an idea for a feature called "The Earth and the Sky", which would have been The Fox and the Hound with a boy and a dragon. But when DreamWorks announced their movie How to Train Your Dragon , which had similar story elements, the idea was dropped.

Anderson currently resides in Canyon Country, California, with his wife, Heather, and their son, Jacob.

Bruce Wayne Smith is an American television producer, animator, character designer and film director. He is best known as the creator of Disney Channel's The Proud Family (2001–2005) and Disney+'s The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder (2021–present). Employed by Walt Disney Animation Studios since 1996, Smith has served as the supervising animator for Kerchak and Baboons & Baby Baboon in Tarzan, Pacha in The Emperor's New Groove, Dr. Facilier in The Princess and the Frog and Piglet, Kanga and Roo in Winnie the Pooh. William Everett "Bud" Luckey was an American artist, cartoonist, illustrator, musician, singer and voice actor. Carole Holliday is an American animator, storyboard artist, director, and founder of Crowded Metro Films. Wonderful World of Animation is a nighttime show at Disney's Hollywood Studios. The show is a celebration of all Disney animation, beginning with Mickey Mouse. It premiered on May 1, 2019, as part of the park's 30th anniversary celebration, replacing Disney Movie Magic.
