Stephen Sherrill (born 1985/1986 [1] ) is an American politician. He serves on the San Francisco Board of Supervisors,representing District 2.
Sherill was born in New York,although in August 2023 he changed his birthplace to California alongside his political affiliation from Independent to Democratic. [2] [1] He graduated from Yale University in 2009. [1]
Sherrill worked as director of the Mayor's Office of Innovation and political advisor to New York mayor Michael Bloomberg. [3]
On December 18,2024,Mayor London Breed appointed Sherril to the San Francisco Board of Supervisors to serve out the rest of supervisor Catherine Stefani's term,ending in 2026,following her election to the California State Assembly in 2024. [3]
