Steve Chang, is a Taiwanese businessman and the founder, chairman and former CEO of Trend Micro, the world's largest software security firm. [1] He was named "Star of Asia" by the Business Week in 1999, [2] and he was selected as one of the six protagonists of the Discovery Channel's Portraits Taiwan II in 2006.
Chang was born in Pingtung, Taiwan. After graduating from National Pingtung Senior High School, Chang attended Fu Jen Catholic University's Department of Mathematics where he earned a bachelor's degree in 1977, then he studied in the United States and obtained a master's degree in computer science from Lehigh University in 1979. After returning to Taiwan, he worked for Hewlett-Packard and was the head of sales operations in seven counties and cities in southern Taiwan. [3] In 1988, he founded Trend Micro in the US with his wife Jenny Chen (陳怡蓁) and his wife's sister Eva Chen (陳怡樺). [4]
In 1999, Chang won the Fu Jen Outstanding Alumni Award with the Harvard University professor Lee-Jen Wei and nine other people. [5] In the same year, he was also named "Star of Asia" by the Business Week . [2] One decade later, Chang won the CNBC 8th Asian Business Leaders Award. [6] [ better source needed ]
He retired in 2006, and lives in Hualien, Taiwan. [4]

Chen Da (also Chen Ta; Chinese: 陳達; pinyin: Chén Dá; Wade–Giles: Ch'en2 Ta2; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Tân Ta̍t; b. 1905 (1906?) – d. April 11, 1981) was a Taiwanese folk singer. He was part of Taiwan's folk music scene and worked as an analphabetic creator of lyrics. His spontaneous performances of traditional tunes became an object of study for many scholars focused on the music of Taiwan and brought him to the attention of writers engaged in music criticism including the novelist Wang Tuoh. According to the Journal of Music in China, Chen Da was "the only noted singer of Taiwanese folk singing." Chen Da is also referred to as a singer of "Hoklo folk songs," a synonym of "Taiwanese folk songs."

He is stylistically known for singing primarily in Taiwanese Hokkien, incorporating traditional styles and instruments into his music, as well as songs that represent the Taiwanese underclass.
Little Big Women is a 2020 Taiwanese drama film directed by Joseph Hsu and produced by Vivian Hsu, adapting from an eponymous 2017 short film. Hsu also stars in a lead role, alongside Chen Shu-fang, Hsieh Ying-xuan, Sun Ke-fang, Ding Ning, and Buffy Chen. The film premiered in October 2020 at the Busan International Film Festival. The film became a box office hit in Taiwan.

Sisters is the debut studio album by Taiwanese singer A-Mei. It was released on December 13, 1996, by Forward Music. The album was primarily handled by Taiwanese producer Chang Yu-sheng, with the assistance of Yu Guangyan, Ma Yu-fen, Baby Chung, David Wu, and Chen Fu-ming. Musically, it experiments with genres such as pop, soul music, R&B, adult contemporary and easy listening to exhibit A-Mei's vocal talent and versatility. On June 23, 2017, 21 years after its initial release date, a vinyl reissue of Sisters was released by Forward Music.
Chang Hsiu-ya was a renowned female writer from Taiwan, also known by her baptismal name Cecilia (則濟利亞). She used pen names such as Chen Lan (陳藍), Chang Ya-lan (張亞藍), Hsin-ching, and others. Born in Cang County, Hebei Province, China, her family moved to Tianjin when she was seven years old. She later came to Taiwan in 1948. She served as a professor at Providence University and Fu Jen Catholic University's Graduate Institute. She is particularly well-known for her prose.
