It mainly consists of Strait's singles, except for a select few that he decided to exclude. They were replaced by his choice of album cuts and several studio outtakes. It also contains his three singles recorded in the 1970s for indie label D Records, one of which, "I Just Can't Go on Dying Like This", was re-recorded for Strait's 2013 album Love Is Everything.

Two Teardrops is the fifteenth studio album by American country music singer Steve Wariner. Released in 1999, it was his second studio album for Capitol Nashville. The album, which was certified gold in the United States, produced two singles for Wariner on the Billboard country charts in 1999: "I'm Already Taken" at number 3 and the title track at number 2. The former was originally recorded by Wariner in 1978, and was a number 63-peaking single for him on the country charts that year.
Burnin' the Roadhouse Down is the thirteenth studio album by American country music artist Steve Wariner, released on April 21, 1998. It was the first of three albums that he recorded for Capitol Nashville after having been dropped from Arista Records' roster in 1996. It was the second album of Wariner's career to achieve RIAA gold certification for U.S. sales of 500,000 copies, and it produced four Top 40 hit singles for Wariner on the Billboard country charts.
The Other Side is the fourth solo studio album by American country music artist Wynonna Judd, released in 1997 on Curb Records in association with Universal Records. The album, which was certified gold by the RIAA, produced three chart singles on the Billboard Hot Country Singles and Tracks charts: "When Love Starts Talkin'", "Come Some Rainy Day" and "Always Will" respectively reached #13, #14 and #45. A fourth single, "Love Like That", failed to chart. The album also includes "We Can't Unmake Love", a duet with John Berry, which was also included on Berry's 2000 Greatest Hits album.
New Day Dawning is the fifth solo studio album by American country music artist Wynonna Judd, released in 2000. It produced only two chart singles on the Billboard Hot Country Singles and Tracks charts: "Can't Nobody Love You " at #31, and "Going Nowhere" at #43. Also included are cover versions of Joni Mitchell's "Help Me" and the Fabulous Thunderbirds' "Tuff Enuff".

The album produced four chart singles on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks charts. In order of release, these were "Love Is the Right Place", "One Small Miracle", "Bad Day to Let You Go", and "Tree of Hearts", which respectively reached numbers 4, 16, 30, and 45. Life's Highway is the fourth studio album by American country music artist Steve Wariner. It was released in 1985 by MCA. Three singles were released from it in 1986, and the first two singles, including the title track, went to number-one. This album peaked at #22. Rodney Crowell later recorded "She's Crazy for Leaving" on his 1989 album Diamonds & Dirt.
Variations is the fourth studio album by American country music artist Eddie Rabbitt. It was released in 1978 under the Elektra Records label. The album produced three singles: "Hearts on Fire", which peaked at number two on the country charts, and two country number one hits: "You Don't Love Me Anymore", which also peaked at 18 on Adult Contemporary charts; and "I Just Want to Love You". "Kentucky Rain", a song co-written by the artist and originally recorded by Elvis Presley in 1970, was also included on the album.

It includes the singles "Baby I'm Yours", "I Should Be With You" and "Hold On ", which reached #2, #2, and #6, respectively, on the Billboard country charts. The album peaked at #20 on Top Country Albums. "More Than Enough" was recorded the same year by Glen Campbell on Light Years, also produced by Jimmy Bowen for MCA.

The album produced five singles on the Billboard Hot Country Singles chart including two top ten singles: "Don't Your Memory Ever Sleep at Night" at number 23, "Midnight Fire" at number 5, "Lonely Women Make Good Lovers" at number 4, "Why Goodbye" at number 12, and "Don't You Give Up on Love" at number 49.
Winds of Change is the seventh studio album by singer-songwriter Russ Taff, released in 1995 on Reprise/Warner Bros. Nashville. It is Taff's first, and only, full-length mainstream country album. The title song and "I Cry" are the only two songs from his 1989 album The Way Home that he re-recorded for this album. The first country single "Love Is Not a Thing" debuted on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart on January 14, 1995, at number 64, peaking at number 53 on February 25, 1995, spending a total of 9 weeks. "One and Only Love" and "Bein' Happy" were also released as singles and music videos performing moderately well on country radio and CMT. Well-known country songwriter/producer/musician Randy Scruggs produced the album's first six tracks, while Taff and his long-time guitarist James Hollihan, Jr. produced the remaining four tracks.
