Strang3r ("stranger") is the third extended play by South Korean girl group Ladies' Code and their first without EunB and RiSe. It was released on October 13, 2016 and contains six tracks, including three remixes of songs from the group's single album, Myst3ry , along with the title track "The Rain". [1]
In September 2016 it was reported that Ladies' Code would release a new extended play in mid-October, which had been in preparation since March. [2] On October 2, it was confirmed that the EP's title track would be called "The Rain", and would be an "emotional dance song with a melody that fits Ladies’ Code’s individuality". [3] On October 9, a teaser for the title track's music video was released. [4] The extended play was released on October 13 along with the title track "The Rain". [5]

Ladies' Code is a South Korean girl group formed by Polaris Entertainment in 2013. The group's original lineup consisted of leader Ashley and members RiSe, EunB, Sojung, and Zuny. They made their debut with the mini-album Code#01 and the lead track "Bad Girl", which were released on March 7, 2013. On September 3, 2014, the group was involved in a car crash that resulted in the deaths of EunB and Rise. Ladies' Code returned as a trio in February 2016 with the extended play Myst3ry. In October 2016, they issued "The Rain" from their EP Strang3r. The group left Polaris in February 2020 following the expiration of their contracts. The group is currently on indefinite hiatus, with the members pursuing solo careers.
Kwon Ri-se, better known by her stage name Rise, was a South Korean singer. She was a member of the South Korean girl group Ladies' Code under Polaris Entertainment. Prior to her joining Ladies' Code, she participated in Miss Korea 2009 and was crowned as "Miss Korea Japan Jin". She was one of the Top 12 contestants of MBC's Star Audition The Great Birth. She died in a car crash at age 23.
Oh My Girl is a South Korean girl group formed by WM Entertainment. The group is composed of six members: Hyojung, Mimi, YooA, Seunghee, Yubin and Arin. Originally an eight-piece group, JinE left the group in October 2017 due to health issues, and Jiho left in May 2022. Oh My Girl debuted on April 20, 2015, with an eponymous extended play.
Miss Me? is the second and final extended play (EP) by South Korean girl group I.O.I, a project group created through the 2016 Mnet survival show, Produce 101, composed of eleven trainees from different entertainment companies that promoted until January 2017 under YMC Entertainment. It contains five tracks, including the lead single, "Very Very Very" produced by Park Jin-young.
Mystery of Venus is the sixth extended play by South Korean girl group Hello Venus. It was released on January 11, 2017, by Fantagio Music and distributed by Interpark. The EP consists of four songs, including their previous collaboration with producing and writing team, Devine Channel, with the addition of a new song, "Mysterious", the title track from the EP. To promote the EP, Hello Venus performed "Mysterious" on South Korean music programs, including Music Bank and Inkigayo. A music video for the title track was also released on January 11. This marks their last release before their disbandment in 2019.
Eclipse is the third extended play by South Korean girl group EXID. It was released by Banana Culture and distributed by Sony Music on April 10, 2017. The album contains six tracks including the lead single "Night Rather Than Day". The album was promoted by EXID as a 4-member group, since main vocalist Solji was recovering from hyperthyroidism with which she was diagnosed in December 2016.
Signal is the fourth extended play (EP) by South Korean girl group Twice. The EP was released on May 15, 2017, by JYP Entertainment and distributed by Genie Music.
Square Two is the second single album by South Korean girl group Blackpink. It was released digitally on November 1, 2016, by YG Entertainment and was distributed through KT Music. The single album consists of the songs "Playing with Fire" and "Stay", as well as an acoustic version of "Whistle". Lyrics on the single album were written by Teddy and the production was also handled by Teddy, R. Tee and Seo Won-jin.
Miss This Kiss is the second extended play by South Korean girl group Laboum. It was released on April 17, 2017, by NH Media. It consists of six tracks, including the title track "Hwi Hwi".
My Life is the second Korean extended play (EP) by South Korean singer Rain. It was released on December 1, 2017, by Rain Company and distributed by Genie Music. Rain enlisted several musicians to help produce the record, including Brand New Music producer Kim Tae-wan, fellow The Unit mentor Jo Hyun-ah and rapper Gill. It contains a total of ten tracks, including the single "Gang" and pre-release track "Goodbye" with Jo Hyun-ah. Commercially, the EP peaked at number 7 on the Gaon Album Chart and sold over 8,900 copies.

Go Live is the fourth extended play by South Korean–Japanese boy group ONF, released on October 7, 2019 by WM Entertainment and distributed by Stone Music Entertainment. Unforgettable is the seventh extended play (EP) and recent release by South Korean girl group Lovelyz. The album was released on September 1, 2020 by Woollim Entertainment and distributed by Kakao M. The album contains six tracks, including the lead single "Obliviate". This is their last album before the group went into indefinite hiatus after all members, except Baby Soul, decided not to renew their contracts and left Woollim Entertainment.
